All of this is listed on the short-term rental site prior to your booking. Please do not be offended that I am leaving this detailed info here and in the home. It answers guests questions. House manual. Please: THEMOSTAT-The thermostat is in the main floor hallway. The evenings are delightfully cool, so you can open windows and enjoy! The tech said to NOT have it set cooler than 68, otherwise the coils will freeze up and will ruin unit. Tech suggests 73 degrees to cool, 62 to heat. There are comforters, blankets, fans in bedroom closets. 3 blankets in livingroom.
TRASH: Please throw trash, uneaten food from fridge into green trash bin and recyclable items into blue recycle bin, both with YELLOW ropes on the handles to ID them as mine. They are located next to the garage. At the end of the visit, empty all trash cans in home. Early Thursday morning at 7 a.m. is trash day. They are to be set on the public street curb, facing the street. (not in the cul de sac) Please return them next to the garage after they are emptied. If they are not next to the garage when you arrive, they may still be on the street curb. Please bring them up to the side garage. Blinds info in home.Please use coasters so furniture is not further damaged.If you are more comfortable rearranging/ moving furniture/household items, please move them back.When you are out of the home, please don't leave on any appliance such as the dishwasher (not even in dry cycle- please turn off completely) turn off coffee pot, off washer, off clothes dryer, etc. when you leave the home. SECURITY SYSTEM AND SECURITY CAMERAS: I will address your concerns. Cameras are mostly battery operated so I have extra cameras in case batteries fail. They are pointing to the outside driveway/ outside front door and outside back yard. Do not tamper with cameras and connections.There is also one camera in the garage.
Maximum guests in reservation-
Home sleeps six, maximum is six. Request permission for addition guests at $40 a night per additional guest. Visitors to the home (other than registered guests) need permission and there could be a charge per guest. the flooring is relatively new. Please wipe up immediately any water or melting ice cubes on the wood-like floors through the home. The water can severely damage the flooring. There is fresh ice in the freezer. Drinking water from the kitchen faucet. Please wipe your feet on the provided entrance rugs because pebbles and asphalt damage floors. Please blot up any and all spills on flooring and on furniture. PARKING: Per covenants there is to be no parking in the small Cul de Sac leading to my home: Parking is permitted on my cement private driveway, no more than 2 vehicles, side by side, pulled all the way up into the driveway. Yes, it is tight for larger vehicles. Please do not block turn- around area at the end of my cement driveway.If your vehicle leaks oil, please protect the driveway. Note: You may park 1 vehicle in the garage, it is a tight fit. In the driveway, do not leave anything in the vehicle or glovebox, Santa Fe is experiencing vehicle break-ins throughout the city. The “Nextdoor” app video shows thieves with flashlights peering into vehicles. A neighbor left wallet in his truck, it was broken-into. Keep couch covers on the light colored furniture .I suggest you raise the blinds for the stunning morning view, but the direct West sun heats up the loft in the afternoon, so I suggest you lower the blinds before you leave for the day. (The treadmill is not available for use.) The loft has a half wall that opens to the front entry below, please no climbing or sitting on the half wall. Patio has 3 sets of decorative lights..Turning them on might involve plugging in the extension cords which is easier than turning them on at the outlet.Turn them off during the day and when they are not being used. The putting green and turf are petroleum based and are flammable so please do not put gas grill or wood burning firepit on the turf or putting green. Home is on a golf course with possible stray balls, snow, rain and ice can make patios and driveway slippery. FIRE COLUMN, GAS GRILL, WOOD FIRE PIT-After using, turn all gas valves OFF otherwise the propane can leak and tanks will empty. There may be 3 propane gas tanks, 2 are hooked up. One is a spare next to the home. Note: IF they are empty and you want to use them, you can bring empty tanks to Walmart and they will exchange it for a full one for a fee of around $24. I do my best to keep them full, but, this is notice that they could be empty. NO MAILED TO BE DELIVERED TO USPS MAILBOX- it cannot be accessed by guests. Deliveries to the home should be sent to the home location or a private PO BOX. Highchair in garage, Cosco portable Playpen/crib in loft. BY BOOKING THE HOME ALL OF THE GUESTS AGREE TO RULES AND POTENTIAL HAZARDS-The home is on a golf course with potential stray golf balls, snow, rain and ice can make patios and driveway slippery. BOOKED GUESTS ONLY/ NO SMOKING ANYWHERE/NO PETS-Remember no pets and no smoking on the property. No large gatherings. No parties. No additional visitors to the home, unless a written request by the booking guest is approved by the host in advance: Some repetition here: 1. By booking the home: you agree to house rules, follow house manual, follow check-out items posted on front door. 2.You agree to give the host complete guest list if asked.3.Your anticipated arrival time and departure times are important in scheduling cleaning crew..4.f you are not committing fraud, you do not need to worry about rule 4! To protect myself against the growing fraud in short-term rentals, I might be checking you in and will check your ID. 5.Check-in time afer 4pm, Check-out time before 10am.6.No pets.7.Garbage disposal is for small scraps of food.Do not dispose of sanitary products, diapers, wipes in toilets. 8 Blackmakeup washcloths are provided.9.Guests agree to pay if excessive damage occurs that exceeds the security deposit. 10. No smoking11.No unregistered guests or visitors unless written permission from host. The Ring video doorbell can monitor number of guests/visitors. There is a charge of $50 for each unauthorized visitor, guest per day. 12.No large unauthorized gatherings, no parties, a fee of $200 will be charged. 13. No excessive noise-14. $45 key replacement fees. Do not make copies of keys, do not change codes and locks.15.Please use reasonable amount of utilities- water, heat, air conditioning, lights. 16 Illegal drugs/substances or prohibited items are grounds for immediate termination without refund.17.Shoes/boots not allowed indoors, courteous to leave footwear in entryway to help keep home much cleaner. 18.No food, beverages in bedrooms. 19. Covid not reason for refund. 20. No illegal downloads with the internet..21. No fires, no candle use on the property.22. Guests acknowledge: they can, and are encouraged to park one vehicle in garage; garage is tight fit; no large vehicles will fit; there are two parking spaces in the driveway; per covenants-vehicles must not extend beyond cement driveway nor block turn around area at the end of the cement driveway; no parking in the small cul de sac, per neighborhood covenants. Don't leave anything in vehicles parked in driveway. Nextdoor app videoshows thieves around the city of Santa Fe peering into parked cars for items to steal and they break windows. 23. No smoking 24.Backyard of fun activities for all. Please be aware, the home is not child-proof, there are no gates on the stairways, etc. You agree to be watchful of golfers coming down the fairway and acknowledge there could be stray golf balls that come into yard. 25. If water is spilled on the floor, or ice cubes drop on the floor, please wipe up water immediately.26.. Enjoy the three sets of patio lights and remember to turn them off during the day and when you leave. 27. Don't move: gas grill from side yard rocks, gas fire column & wood firepit from patio: Don't move any items to flammable artificial turf. 28. Gas fireplace is not operable.29. Of course you can use air conditioning, but evenings in the high desert are nice and cool and you might enjoy the fresh air. 30.     The house has lots of space for everyone but the backyard was the highlight for us! We loved sitting out there with the fire going and sipping on our wine. The parking was a little rough since we had 2 large vehicles.

    Our stay at Diane’s home was amazing. The home was beautiful and everything was spotless when we arrived. Diane was very organized and quick to respond to our messages which made things run smooth. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. The carpet in the bedrooms was also very clean. We had plenty of clean towels and the washer and dryer were useful. Noise was not an issue as the rooms were separated by plenty of room and the neighborhood was also quiet.The backyard was bigger than we anticipated but it was great enjoying coffee in the morning and watching the golfers pass by. It was set up great with most of it turfed up and plenty or activities for all to enjoy. The drive into town is about 15 minutes or so but we knew that in advance. It was a very lovely stay and would easily consider staying there again.Thank you, Diane!

    This house had everything we needed to be comfortable and feel at home. We had adults and children and there was plenty for everyone to do. Plenty of space to relax and rooms to sleep. We were able to cook out, have a bonfire, have a ping-pong tournament, and hit golf balls.We truly enjoyed our stay.Our host had a welcome basket with snacks and instructions for everything. When I did communicate with the host, they responded immediately.If you are considering staying in this house, you will definitely enjoy your stay!

    We could not ask for a better place to stay. Of all the vacation rentals we have stayed in, this by far, felt the most like home.     A group of us came to run 1/2 Marathon and have a ladies weekend getaway. We had a fantastic time in this beautiful home!     Booked house mainly for outside living. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the backyard because of skunk smell. Left a day early. Hostess tried but when you can't find the cause,it's hard to get rid of the oder. Three out of 4 of us found beds very uncomfortable .

    We stayed here on our family vacation (my husband, myself and our 2 grown children and my daughters boyfriend) and were all blown away! This house is equipped with everything you need and then some. All the games and activities kept our family busy and lots of memories made.     None of us had ever been to the Santa Fe area. We spent five days and had an amazing time. We were very happy with the information we received from Diane and used many of her recommendations. We were not disappointed . The property was in a very good location for the things we wanted to see and do. Finding our way around was easy.
