Stayed Sep 19, 2025The property has beautiful views, it was peaceful, quite and in gated community. The house was clean and more than enough room for my family. They had games that you could play as a family. I highly recommend this property for anyone that i a looking for a relaxing vacation.

Stayed Jan 5, 2024Overall, very good place. Host was very kind. It would be more comfortable if we could have info about why we can not advised how to get in home and its exact locations etc. Eventually, we noticed It is probably for safety reason that is understandable. Just wished to knows it as we travel from abroad and concerned about accidents and wondering why information was limited until the last minutes. All those said, I recommend any one to stay here!! Thank you.

Stayed Dec 11, 2025Wonderful host, beautiful home with everything a family would need. We are so blessed to have been able to bring our entire family to Hawaii including our 2 little grandchildren. The house was perfect! Plenty of space and equipped with everything you need! Highly recommend!

Stayed Oct 4, 2025Sunset Retreat was perfect for our family of eight. The neighborhood has excellent views and is very quiet. Our house was four bedrooms and three and a half baths, clean and well equipped. There was even beach equipment in the garage. Kerstan and Jerrell are excellent hosts. I highly recommend Kalo Homes Sunset Retreat for an Oahu getaway!

Stayed Dec 24, 2024This home was accurately described. We had folks in every room, with no complaints from anyone. The rack of beach gear in the garage was super handy to attack the sand. Solid kitchen for cooking. Winter in West Oahu was fun. Plenty of beaches, local shops, and a farmers market. Laid back town with Shaved ice around the corner, and supermarket nearby. It was a nice change to the bustle of Honolulu. Our hosts communicated just the right amount, enough to show they cared. We will look for these hosts next time we come to Hawaii.
