4-bedroom vacation home just a lovely walk to Guadalupe River

First time in Seguin,

Wonderful property to relax and enjoy some time off.

Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub

This home and property was simply breathtaking. So peaceful. We had the perfect weather. It fit our family perfectly. The pool and hot tub was nice. We also lit the fire and sat around and listened to music. The fishing was good. My daughter caught a huge 35-40 carp. I highly recommend this place. I already want to go back.

Wow! What a beautiful place. My family loved our time here. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and cooking in a beautiful kitchen. One of our family members is in a wheelchair and we had some difficulty getting her inside the house and then outside when we left. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. So clean and beautifully decorated. Such a lovely space!

Absolutely great house for a group! The interior was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The interior is decorated beautifully with a great modern Texas farmhouse vibe. The 10 acre property was mowed and trimmed nicely. Now for the negatives. The pool area needs some work. All of the furniture is very old and covered with spiders and other creatures. The pool lounge chairs were very old and needed to be replaced. The 4 padded chairs all had rips in the fabric and needed to also be replaced. We tried to sit at the table to eat outside but between the old chairs, dirty table and spider covered seats…it was a no go for us. There wasn’t one place to sit outside that was dirty or really old except the porch swing. There needs to be a pressure washing of the entire pool area, pest control (the flies, wasps & ants were relentless), and outdoor furniture replacement. There is a wasps nest on the northern side which didn’t help. All of this definitely lessened our enjoyment of the outside pool area. The property itself is amazing but this left much to be desired. We did walk down to the dock area by the river….it is extremely old and I am not sure how anyone would be able to use it in its current condition. The river was extremely low and unusable for us…obviously not the fault of the property owner. We did have fun and made the best of the pool area.

Great property with beautiful grounds. Very relaxing and perfect for families as there were lots of kid friendly features. Loved having non breakable dishes, the super fun bunk room with toys. Beds were very comfortable and we all slept great. Sharing one bathroom upstairs was a little tight when we had all the beds full, but we made it work. It was a little difficult to see the horse on the gate when we arrived after dark, and guests should definitely note that it’s a decent drive down a gravel road to get to the property. We loved seeing the cows and wild turkeys, though! Definitely would stay there again!

This property is a peaceful place to play and/or relax away from it all and yet close to plenty of fun things to see and do for kids and adults

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. It's a great place to getaway for a nice and relaxing weekend.

We enjoyed our time at your property. Your home was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The pool and spa were wonderful. River/lake was a bit of a disappointment but we were able to explore some. We appreciated all the attention detail and availability of items for our outdoor fun This property is a gem. We hope to return!
