Note that while the house can accommodate ten guests, one of the rooms is a bunk room and is setup for families. A maximum of six adults is allowed. Please book accordingly.

This home is equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. If you have any concerns please check in with us. We ask that the cameras are not disabled or tampered with.

Per Placer County short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers.

Our home is in an area with significant snowfall. Please make sure you have the proper equipment and resources available for safe winter travel. Even if roads to Lake Tahoe are clear, neighborhood conditions may still require 4WD, snow tires, chains or shoveling to access the property depending on snow removal services and accumulation.

    The location is great, it's right off the main road and super close to the beaches. Check-in was very easy, just make sure you follow the instructions for the electric bear fence. Tip: Be sure to open all of the kitchen cabinets before you head to the store to check what spices and supplies are already there and check out the entire property to see everything it has to offer (we found water toys by the hot tub on our last day lol). Queen-sized beds seemed a little smaller than normal, but I also have a king at home so it could just be that I wasn't used to that size. Lots of fans in the home to use if it's warm, they can easily be moved around to make your room more comfortable. The kids room (bunk beds) has a shorter toilet which was great for our 5-year old. Property owner is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

    Amazing cabin with all the little details covered, from sleds for the kids, snowshoes for the adults, a fully equipped kitchen, nice plush carpeting, boardgames, lotion in all the bathrooms, the best hot tub I've ever been in and even fancy smores sticks!Plenty of space for 2 families and grandparents. Would book again in the future.

    While there were only 4 of us this house has a great layout for families and friends. Enjoyed looking out every morning and seeing the Lake. Also really enjoyed the jacuzzi and being surrounded by all the beautiful trees. Kitchen had a great layout as well. Such a beautiful location. We hope to be back soon.
