Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our second stay at the bungalow and everything was just as good as we remembered from the 1st time. Its an idea location for us as its spacious, quiet, has a big garden and patio and is within walking distance to the village, the pubs and 10/15 mins walk to the beach (or less than 5 mins in the car). Like previous people have said the bungalow is very well equipped and there is absolutely no shortage of anything you might need. the quality of fixtures and fitting s is also very good. Communication with the owner was excellent as well before and during our stay. We didn't have any issues that needed attention but I am confident if we did they would have been resolved. Would definitely stay again - and we have.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Excellent communication with Lorraine before and during our stay. We had to change our dates because of Covid + she was very understanding and made this process easy. Large 4 bed bungalow with plenty of living space for the family too. Large patio (2tables, enough to seat 10) to the rear, wraparound large garden, mostly laid to grass, plenty of room to run around, play games etc Secure with gates at each end of the driveway. Well equipped kitchen + utility. Choice of 2 dining areas, 1 in the kitchen, larger area which easily seats 8-10 in the dining room. Welcome pack wasmuch appreciated. Central location for this side of Cornwall. The local shop does amazing pasties, is well stocked with basic produce, is only a 5 minute walk away. Crantock beach is a 5 minute drive away. You can walk there but the roads are narrow + wouldn't be ideal with children and all you'd need to carry. Once there, it is an ideal beach for all ages. A shallow estuary area with lots of families wading and paddle boarding. Lots of caves to explore on the way down to the sea. The waves are good, ideal for surfing. Miles of beach to choose from. Newquay + Fistral beach are also just 10 minutes away in the car. Supermarket 5-10 minutes in car. Would definitely stay at Tregoona again.

Stayed Jul 17, 2020We spent a great week at this lovely bungalow. There was everything we needed and more!! The welcome pack was a nice touch and the garden and bbq area was a hit with us all. Set in a quiet location with super views but only a short walk has you in Crantock village and a bit further on the beach. We were a family of 3 generations and the bungalow lended itself well as the bedrooms are spilt with 2 being at one end and the others at the other end of the property so you still have your own privacy. I cannot rate this holiday accommodation highly enough and we all would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Oct 11, 2019Tregoona was one of 5 cottages booked for our family gathering and we can't praise it enough. The two families who stayed there found the cottage spotlessly clean, with every necessary amenity supplied and would have no hesitation in recommending the property to family and friends in the future.

Stayed Jul 7, 2018The welcome pack was a nice touch and there was plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment for us. The main rooms were very spacious but the shower room was a little crampt, not really a problem but this must be why its not photoed. The shower itself was a nice large cubical not the small one. The garden was very nice, plenty of space for kids to run around and there was a small playground the other side of the hedge too. We found walking from the bungalow to the shop or pubs OK but a bit far for the beach. This is due to the very steep walk back up the hill. Parking was OK off peak at the beach with a small waiting time but I imagine its difficult in peak times. Very easy house to get to from the M5 dual carriageway almost all the way. Would definitely love to stay again as we all have happy memories of this holiday!

Stayed Apr 27, 2016Standing very much on it's own with beautiful countryside views this was the ideal away-from-it-all for our family of 5 adults +1 child. Whilst we didn't visit the beach which I know from past experience is great for the young ones it would be close enough to walk to from this property so you can forget the car once you've done a shop at the close-by Morrison's. We ate at the local pub (Cornishman) which was good food at a reasonable price. All-in-all I would recommend this property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a lovely week in Crantock. The house was roomy and the garden was even better; perfect for (large) families. The owner was helpful and replied quickly to all queries. Nice place!
