This is a great property. They even let us check in early to get items in the fridge. Easy location and access. Plenty of room and wonderful balcony. The beds were ok. New mattresses would help. Some suggestions: A roll of paper towels, bowls, mixing bowels, extra blankets and new towels. Towels are old. Thanks for the stay!
This was a wonderful place to stay for our family. Very clean and nice with amazing views. Thanks for hosting us!
Great location. Convenient to Yellowstone and we had regular elk sightings on the property. The house had everything we needed and a very spacious open concept living room and dining / kitchen area for our family of 7 adults.
The location of this property is spectacular; close proximity to Yellowstone and downtown Gardiner has plenty to offer. We would stay here again. Only recommendation is that the owners add more kitchen supplies; pots, pans, mixing bowls, and more silverware to accommodate up to 10 guests.
We had a lot of fun
Overall good property. However my elderly mother hurt her knee seriously and had to be transported by ambulance!. The issue was the recliner next to kitchen and should be replaced as it is negligent. And dangerous! I advised the property manager of thus and few other issues. Proximity to Yellowstone was excellent for daily trips.
The house was perfect for our family of 7. Wildlife was plentiful in our yard. The kitchen does need to be better stocked. Example, there were only 5 spoons and about 5 forks for us to use. Additionally, utensils to prepare food, such as pancake flipper, tongs, BBQ utensil etc are needed.
This place was perfect for our visit to Yellowstone North Gate. Perfect location in town but set away from neighbors on a nice little hill. The house is big and still felt cozy and was very comfortable. Very clean and had all we needed. Only one TV but since we were gone all day in the park we didn’t mind. Great place!
Amazing views from this house, only 1/2 a mile from the town and easy and quick entry into Yellowstone park. House was clean and comfortable. Only negative were thatthe BBQ wasn't available to us (locked in the storage) and was available to us until our last day, mostly stocked with supplies but was missing some basics like paper towels, hand soaps for the bathrooms, etc.
We loved staying here while passing through!! It gave us a great place to rest while we saw some of Yellowstone. The proximity to the park is perfect!!! Will definitely look to book here again in the future.
The interior was pleasantly decorated as illustrated in the listing however the maintenance of the property is waning both inside and out. The roof appears to have been replaced however pieces of asphalt shingles from the previous or replacement are scattered throughout the yard. The soffits on the north end of the residence are torn and loose which causes a loud rattle in the winds. Other litter is laying loose in the yard with an onsite firepit containing remnants of metal shelving brackets. Inside the residence the coffee pot did not work showing a light it needed cleaning. A primary dining chair was dangerously loose, several blinds worn, weathered and non-functional. Several walls had holes from the door handles strikes (note: new door stops not installed found in kitchen drawer ). Carpets worn and spotted in several areas. This residence is located both in rattlesnake and fire country with areas of natural brush up against the structure. As a user and homeowner myself I would say the property just needs some simple maintenance and it would shine against the competing rentals in the area. In rating Communication with the Property Manager my rating is based upon pre-visit communication.
We had nine stay here including kids and one senior. The house is perched overlooking Gardiner and is super convenient and quiet. House is as advertised and very comfortable. No complaints and very happy with our stay.
This was a Perfect location for watching wildlife. The house sits up high enough you can look down over Gardiner. It was very clean and comfortable. Rooms were great size. Master shower was awesome. Great deck. **Extra blankets and pillows along with dish towels and dish cloths would have made this a perfect place to stay. **
