Prepare for rest and relaxation as you vacation in this 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home that has everything you need. The Salty Nest is located on a quiet street in Bethany Beach, this property is perfectly positioned for those who want a peaceful retreat with easy access to the bustling boardwalks and dining of Rehoboth, Fenwick, and Ocean City. Whether you are enjoying the unique outdoor space featuring a private pool and bar area,or taking a short bike ride to downtown Bethany, this home is designed for the ultimate summer getaway.

FLOOR-BY-FLOOR DESCRIPTION

Main Level: The first floor features a well-stocked kitchen, dining area, and a spacious living room complete with a pool table for indoor entertainment. The Primary Owner's Suite is located on this level, offering a King bed, TV, ceiling fan, and access to a small private deck. The en-suite master bathroom includes a large soaking tub, separate shower, dual vanity, and a walk-in closet. A half-bath is also located on this floor.

Upper Level: The second floor houses three additional bedrooms: a second bedroom with a King bed, a third bedroom with two Queen beds, and a final bedroom with two Twin beds. These rooms share a full hallway bathroom.

Outdoor Living: The exterior features a private pool, a bar area, and a screened-in porch. Guests also have access to a shared pier nearby for kayaking and paddleboarding.

LINEN PACKAGE

1st Choice Properties provides bed and bath linens for you. Your linen package includes: fitted sheets, top sheets, and pillowcases for all beds; sets of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for all guests; kitchen towels and bathmats for all full bathrooms. Your linens will be delivered to the home prior to your arrival; you are responsible for putting the linens on the beds. You are also responsible for bagging the linens at the end of your stay and leaving them outside the residence for pick-up after your departure.

STARTER KIT

1st Choice Properties also provides a Starter Kit with all rentals. Your Starter Kit includes (1) roll of paper towels, (2) rolls of toilet paper, (1) 3oz bottle of dish soap, (1) dish sponge, (1) 13gal kitchen trash bags. You are responsible for providing any additional toiletries, soap, and paper products as needed.


MISCELLANEOUS

-The maximum occupancy is 10 people.

-There is parking for 4 vehicles.

-No pets, smoking, vaping, or events are allowed.

-Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

-Check-in is 4PM and check-out is 10AM. This is non-negotiable. Your access codes for the property will activate and deactivate precisely at these times; occupancy outside these timeframes without express permission from 1st Choice Properties is considered unlawful trespassing. 1st Choice Properties will contact you directly the day of your arrival if your property is available for an early check-in at no additional cost to you; this is our standard practice and you do not need to contact us to opt-in to it.

-The property owners we represent do not permit reservations for groups under the age of 25.


DELAWARE SHORT-TERM RENTAL TAX

    I’m afraid to leave the outstanding review I want to because I want this gem to be available again! What a wonderful week it was. This house had everything we could possibly need. Even with 3 days of storms we had fun. The house was spotless and fully stocked. The pool was great and thanks for sending the pool cleaner back a second time after the biggest storm of the week. A nice touch and we didn’t have to ask. Thanks for helping make our family vacation beyond lovely!

    The house was amazing & large & open. Screen porch & pool PERFECT!! Would have loved to have some chairs on the two decks off of the master suite, though. And it sure would have been nice if the description of the one bedroom was more accurate. The twin bedroom was a loft & had a large skylight. Every room upstairs was shared by parents and children. This loft room made it very difficult for babies, sleeping and napping! Wish we had known it was open and so bright. Also, wish there was a lockbox and did not have to check in with the property management company first. Wasted time! The keys did not work in the front door and we had to walk through the garage every time we wanted to come in. Other than this the location was great and the fully stocked kitchen was a plus .

    Our family vacations in Bethany Beach annually and have stayed in the salt pond area for the last several years. The house this year didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool area with pool house/bar/changing area is awesome. The inside was very open and comfortable for our family of 7. We look forward to next year.

    We loved this rental!! From its location to the pool in the back yard! The garage was equipped with everything needed to stay busy or we could just stay at the house if we wanted and swim. Very nicely done.

    Our family enjoyed the quick access to the beach along with our own private pool. The screened in porch was a plus for those who didn’t want to sit poolside but wanted to be a part of the outdoor fun. We also brought kayaks and enjoyed time on the Salt Pond. The nearby bike/hiking path was great for morning rides/walks. The house was spacious and as shown in pictures. It would be nice to have some bigger pots/pans and at least a couple 9x13 baking dishes. Our family had a great time and hope to return.

    Three families with kids aged 4-9. The pool was perfect! The house layout gave everyone enough space to not feel on top of eachother. We enjoyed the kayak the owners leave for use at the pond right at the end of the street:) The biking trails and even just biking lanes got us where we needed to go from the house to town. It was overall a perfect week!

    Communication before the trip was lacking. We were suppose to make final payment sometime in June and around mid July I hadn't heard anything about the final payment. I reached out to the property manager and they said it probably went to my spam folder. Also, I would have expected more instructions about check in process, had I not called I would have had no idea. Check in was quick and smooth. However, upon getting to the house it was apparent the house was never cleaned. There was food all over the table, on the floor, etc... We contacted the property manager and to their credit they got a crew there instantly to clean the house. It delayed us and wasn't easy with young kids who had just traveled approximately 7 hours but we made it work. It was a HUGE error on the property managers part. I will say they were extremely apologetic and we did come to a remedy that in my opinion was fair. A bad situation was made right and at the end of the day mistakes happen and I thought they handled it well. The house itself was as expected. No complaints. About a 5 min drive to the beach
