Stayed Sep 2, 2023Nice old house with great character. All four kids loved that they could each have their own room. Close to downtown and to many shopping and dining options. Was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do (Legends Outlets, KC Royals, downtown KC).

Stayed Mar 20, 2026We had a wonderful stay and appreciate you sharing your home with us! I would suggest that you put a mat in the bathtub of the master. It is extremely slick and I’m afraid someone will get hurt and y'all will end up being sued. Thank you!

Stayed Dec 31, 2025This was the best house for our family! It was in such a great location! Not only were we only 20-30 minutes away from our attractions (Science City and Mavericks Hockey game), but it was also in such an amazing neighborhood with a great small-town vibe and only a 10-minute walk down to antique shops, coffee shops, restaurants and more. We all comfortably fit in the house and were able to have our own spaces with our own bathrooms. Taryn was also a fabulous host. She was more than accommodating, easy to work with, quick to respond, and worked so well with our family. The check-in and out processes were so easy. We would love to save this property for future visits.

Stayed Dec 4, 2025This was a fun place to stay. The host did a wonderful job of combining the house's original charm with a modern flair. Check-in was very easy. We were in town for my husband's graduation. It was nice to have two bedrooms on the main floor so our parents didn't have to climb the stairs to the second level. The only negative was hearing a train whistle often during the night. However, most of my family slept through that. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Aug 21, 2025Very clean. Nice. Simple decor. We basically only slept there, so can’t comment on kitchen supplies etc. Bathrooms were good. I bit of a challenge for load in because the stairs were steep, but we’re in our mid70s so there’s that.

Stayed Apr 30, 2025We needed a place close to our son’s wedding. It was perfect. The home and the host were just what we needed to take the pressure off the event. Host was great to work with. Couldn’t be happier with the home.

Stayed Mar 18, 2025We came to Parkville to tour the college and explore the city. The house is in a great location, within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, however the house was not properly maintained or cleaned. Upon arrival there was foil confetti along the floors from a previous party's stay, hair on the shower floor, and a thick layer of dust covering all fans to the point we couldn't turn them on due to the dust flying on to the beds. Lamps did not have lightbulbs, 2 rooms where there was only 1 light had the lightbulb burned out and we couldn't find any replacements. The grout in the kitchen tile floor was cracking and coming up. I stepped on a shard of glass barefoot the first night getting into bed. We sent pictures of some of the issues to the property manager the first night with no response. Will not be staying here again.

Stayed Jan 30, 2025We had a total of 3 families (8 people) in our party. The house was perfectly located between all of the locations we needed to visit. The younger generation visited a local coffee shop in Parkville just to hang out one night and thoroughly enjoyed it.The house was spacious allowing everyone to retreat to their private space when necessary. There were also small nooks for reading or conversation. Beds were very comfortable.

Stayed Feb 7, 2025This historic house on a hill is in a charming suburb of Kansas City. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms provided plenty of privacy and space for four friends. We walked 5 minutes to coffee, restaurants and shops.
