With all this I saved the best for last. You can still have bonfires (can you say oyster roasts ! ) on the beach and even ride horses with the local stables. We have fished right in front of our home, caught dinner, and then cooked it on the beach. This is definitely old Florida with beautiful sand and water as well as complete relaxation.
