Stayed Apr 7, 2025We enjoyed staying in this comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the beach. We liked that the bedrooms had a separate quiet space from the large open living/dining/kitchen area (you could even close a door on the hallway). Large covered parking area underneath gave us lots of room to park our bikes and beach toys. The sand shower with hot water was essential. The screen porch was lovely to sit on as well. Our only complaints were the check-in process involved stopping at a real estate office to pick up a key (never had to do that for a VRBO before) and the external locks were extremely fidgety to open/close. I even got locked out on the screen porch once because I was somehow able to open the door to go outside while it was still locked and shut it behind me. Over all though, fantastic rental.

Stayed May 20, 2022This is a well taken care of historic home with great character. Parking was great and staff at rental office were very friendly and helpful. I rented the 4 bedroom portion of the home, but I having someone else rent the other portion of the home was no problem at all. No mutual entrances or common areas and we never really saw anyone. Even parking is separate. It was absolutely wonderful staying here. Only 3 blocks from the beach it was an easy walk for us even with beach chairs. Proximity to everything in St.Simons. This was our first big family trip, but we will absolutely return and rent this property again we absolutely loved it! Thank you so much!

Stayed Jun 27, 2020Enough space for a large group to be together, or a person to be alone. Unfortunately the property management was non-responsive throughout the week to attempts to get WiFi restored. WiFi stopped working after the first night. The mattresses were very firm, which suited our family. The house is supplied with very little - ie. no dishrags and only two dish towels for a week reservation - and is surface clean. A great gas stovetop, but oven took 30 minute preheat to 400 degrees. A nice gas grill - also out of fuel. The (outside) trash can was filled with maggots where the previous guest left trash and the can was 1/3 full when we arrived so there was not enough space for our trash bags on pick-up day. The house has several beautiful paintings and 3 bedrooms have newer, cute coverlets and pillows.. Parking spaces were good and ceiling fans helped inside temp. The screened porches were also wonderful.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great accommodations! Pictures don’t do justice. Very high ceilings and open space in great room. Very clean, had good amenities. Only thing weird was the oven (which was brand new) was tricky. We used a couple of times and it was hard to get set. Suggest Leaving directions on how to set the oven temp.leaving directions on how to set the oven temp. Note unless you’re renting the entire property there is a small Separated but connected unit that may also be rented. You will share a common deck. The guest that stayed when we were there were super nice and we enjoyed their company. Super close to everything it’s truly fantastic -you run a big grocery trip at the beginning of the week drop your keys and walk or bike to everything there after! Highly recommend!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved it. It was so spacious and close to the village. It’s an older place but we loved the cabin feel to it. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and it was a great price for what you get

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My daughter and I stayed at Fuller Breeze with some friends during Spring Break this year. The house immediately felt like home to us, the minute we walked in. I was really impressed with the open concept living space, that’s huge. The dining table seats 10 people, and the breakfast counter 4-6. The living room area has 2 big comfortable couches, plus extra seating. The ceiling has to be at least 18 feet high, which makes the home feel relaxing and airy, with lots of natural light. When I look for beach rentals, I look for this kind of properties, full of character, family feel, lots of space, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor for big groups, off street parking, and a property that’s taken care of and loved. This house has 3 porches. I had a chance to check out the smaller house, which can be rented with this one, making it a 6 BDR, or rented separately. The smaller house is very charming and also has it’s own parking spaces and porches, etc. The walk to the beach is really short and easy, I’d say 300 feet or less. The beach at the end of the street is really nice, not crowded at all. My daughter and her friends spent the days biking in the neighborhood and to the village, they spent many hours fishing at the pier, and browsing the cute shops. It was great! I've been in St. Simons 3 times now, and I can say that parking was never a problem for me. The village has pretty good infrastructure for tourists, nice and clean public restrooms, plenty of parking, nice picnic tables, lots of green grass for you play, and big wide trees with lots of shaded areas. The village has enough restaurants to please anyone’s taste. Another big plus about the island is that you can find a lot of local art, and get to know about history. I recommend Saint Simons Island and Fuller Breeze, I can’t wait to go back with a bigger group.
