Perfect home - much larger than I thought it was going to be. Easily accommodated 6 adults and 2 kids with a holiday celebration. Cool city. Never spent time in Pittsburgh before. Friendly people and lots to see and do

Location was perfect. We had no issues, could have used more cleaning products and directions on how to leave the property (what to do with sheets and towels…).

We stayed one night for the Head of the Ohio regatta. It was a great location, it was clean and comfortable for our two families and our dogs. Corey was very responsive to our questions.

Stayed here to be close to my mom for her surgery at Allegheny General. The house was spacious and comfortable as well as in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the hospital, restaurants, grocery store, etc. I would stay here again.

House was very nice and clean , very nice size for a cape cod, we had one small issue that was promptly taken carevof by corey, the back patio has a nice veiw, only thing i might suggest is sprucing up the patio with a paint job and clean up otherwise i would definitely stay again!

This house needs to be taken off VRBO. This house was not what was pictured. The grass had not been cut in a month. The door on the porch was open and chairs laying down. A high flat screen TV was in the porch broken laying against the wall. A high wasp nest on the porch which lets me know that the porch had not been cleaned. Cigarettes everywhere. We walked in the house, and the house smelled horrible. There was almost a 15 degree temperature difference upstairs verse downstairs. The bathroom had not been cleaned. Toilet was leaking and water in the floor. We contacted Corey the owner. He was awful to deal with. First Corey stated that he could not talk now and could only communicate through text. Kept sending pictures of the house to Corey and he said what can I do? Corey stated he would call, he never called then dated he could not call and was at a family matter and would have his property manager contact is. Never heard from the proper manager and never spoke with Corey. We were at the house for 30 minutes and left. Corey sent a text and stated he would send his someone over to look at the house, . Corey stated that he would work with us and never did. We asked for a refund and Corey stated to me to go and cancel my reservation and if the house rebooked then he would give a refund. The cancel option was grayed out. I have use VRbO many times to book houses and this was by far the worst experience. VRBO should remove this listing.

The house was professionally cleaned, but still missed on some key things like the floors needed done. Was unaware of the downstairs tenants. But the host was amazing and communicated effectively. The house was spacious and gave us comfort for the stay. This house is Pittsburgh, all the charm of the house my father grew up in, and close to the city and so many things to do.

We had a good time, the house was as described. The beds could have been less squeaky and a little sturdier, but other than that, it was good.

We really enjoyed our visit. My only objective was not knowing there will be another family in the same property. The side entrance was a little hard getting into and dangerous as far as the cement and steps being broke. However, the overall day was very nice and we really enjoyed the property. We were very comfortable And would like to come back again if possible.

I booked this unit for my two nieces who came with 3 kids (ages 9, 5 and 1 yr old.) Overall the place worked out well for their purposes (came to visit other family who live in Pittsburgh.) The unit had lots of space to spread out and the smart TV with streaming apps was a huge plus. There were a few hiccups throughout the weekend (upon arrival all of the first floor windows were open with a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke, oven didn't work, clothes in the dryer were removed by the basement unit tenant and left on the basement floor.) Unfortunately, the owner can't do anything about a renter who breaks the rules and smokes in the unit or another renter who also has access to the laundry. After bringing up these issues with the owner, he refunded the cleaning fee which was much appreciated. Of note, be sure to read through the entire listing description so you are aware that the owner rents out the basement of the house separately.

We hosted our Christmas here due to many of our nine family members coming from out of town. This was a very comfortable choice! We picked it for the 1st floor layout. The pictures are accurate. The full-sized dining room with solid wood chairs, the eat-in kitchen, and well appointed living room with LOTS of seating were a perfect arrangement for the family. We catered most meals, but the counterspace, appliances and pots/pans are more than adequate to cook small or large meals. Note: there were no cookie sheets/pans for baking at the time. The 1st floor bedroom is great with two beds, two closets and ample room for two adults. Bedding was nice memory form with supportive pillows. The upstairs bedrooms have sloped ceilings which adds charm, taller people may need to remember to duck getting in and out of the beds. Consider bringing your own throws for sitting in the living room or extra cover at night if you want them, we didn't see any for use.Lockable access with the keypads is only via the side drive and the side staircase, and both are well lit outside. Inside, we had to use mobile flashlights to see the home and lock keys on the interior black keypad. You must be inside the home to unlock and use the front entry door which is the entry with minimal stairs. Also this entry is not well lit like the side. Lighting is very good in all rooms, except the dining room has 1 low wattage overhead light.

This property is definitely older but that had no impact on our stay. Corey was very prompt with communication at check-in and check-out. as well as during our stay. We needed batteries for a chirping smoke detector and wine opener and he was quick to take care of both issues without hesitation. I was impressed with how quiet the neighborhood was. All in all, our group enjoyed our stay and would have no problem staying there again should the need arise.
