We were surprised that this location has in-person check-in, rather than self check-in. Jared (property manager) was very accommodating, as we had to rearrange our plans a bit for the in-person check-in process; he was very willing to work with our time-frame. One bedroom has no closet, and none of the bedrooms have dressers or bureaus; i would have liked more clothing storage area. Overall, the house was very nice, and the location is incredibly convenient. The parking areas are also great. We would definitely consider staying at this property again!
Great location to everything
Could not have asked for a better location to enjoy St Augustine! The home itself was great, hosts were super easy to communicate with. Would recommend!
We visit the area every 1-2 years for the past 10 years and have stayed at numerous places from hotels to homes. This was by far the best location for access to downtown and quick trips to the beach. The house was incredible for our family of 3 boys. Plenty of room, amenities, and extremely comfortable
Nice old St Augustine House. We used the first floor set of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything need four or stay was provided. Close to two nice restaurants The Ice Plant and Fish Camp. Easy access to Old Town and the beaches
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is gorgeous, from the beautiful wood floors, which appear to be original, to the eclectic, comfortable furnishings. Kitchen appliances look brand new. The house's unique layout means that, while a surprising number of guests could comfortably sleep there, it also felt just right for our party of four. The location is as good as it gets--an easy stroll to Flagler College, St. George St., etc. And the Lincolnville area itself has so much history and is great for walking. And because there's an abundance of parking at the house, we never had to deal with the hassle of finding parking around town. Last, but definitely not least, the owner and the property manager could not have been nicer or more accommodating.
Jess was super helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process. Property is in a great location, close to everything without being right on top of it. Definitely would consider staying at this property again in the future.
The property was immaculate, lots of spices, pots, pans, dishes for cooking... Only a few blocks to Flagler and the Lightner Museum. Airy, open and bright. Can't wait to go back!
Perfectly located for hitting everything in downtown Saint Augustine without having to drive. The house is gorgeous inside and out with more than enough amenities
This is our fourth year renting in St. Augustine for February and March. We wanted to be closer to downtown so we could walk to shopping, restaurants and other places of interest. We were lucky to find this delightful home in the historic neighborhood of Lincolnville, and it fit the bill perfectly. The house is about 100 years old, but it has been charmingly restored and appointed. There are four bedrooms, which gave us plenty of room to spread out and still have room for guests. The second floor has a large bedroom, with ensuite bathroom. The sunroom/bedroom on the first floor has lots of light and a comfy bed. There is another queen bedroom, plus a king bedroom on the main floor, both with comfortable beds. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare our meals. There is a laundry room with a great washer and dryer. There was a carport next to the house, which gave us two parking spaces. But we mostly walked everywhere. There are many, many terrific dining options in the area, including Crave food truck, the Blue Hen. Carmelo's, Georgie's Diner and Bantam Chef for a quick meal. The Lincolnville Historic District is rich in African American history and known for its civil rights heritage. There is a walking tour with plaques that point out the places of interest. I loved walking through the neighborhood and looking at all the interesting houses and churches. The best part of our stay, however, was our host, Jess. She was an absolute delight to work with. She was so accommodating and accessible for anything we might need. She is proud of her neighborhood and shared its history with us. She owns other properties in the area, so she was around, but respectful of our privacy. We are looking forward to returning next year.
