Eventually the group migrates to the sauna in the garage — a feature that tends to surprise people and then become the highlight of the trip. That's the rhythm this place sets, and it's a good one.

The house sleeps six across three bedrooms — a king suite and two queen rooms — with three full bathrooms so no one's doing the morning shuffle.

The kitchen is properly stocked for people who actually cook: full appliances, a coffee maker, a blender, and a dining table that fits everyone. Slow breakfasts are very much on the table.

When you're ready to leave, Port St. Lucie delivers. Berry Fresh Café does breakfast better than it has any right to. The Riverwalk along the St. Lucie River is the kind of afternoon walk that earns a good dinner. Kyle G's Oyster and Wine Bar is that dinner. If the trip lines up with spring training, Clover Park is a short drive and absolutely worth it.

This is a home that gives a group of six everything they need to switch off, eat well, and spend a few days in Florida the way Florida is supposed to feel — unhurried, warm, and a little hard to leave.
