Stayed Oct 7, 2020The location is perfect. The home was spotless. It is an older home and showing signs of wear. The furnishing were fine. The big disappointment concerns the lack of amenities in the kitchen. There was a spindle of stale spices, a rancid bottle of olive oil and that's it. Not even salt and pepper. But the biggest issue is with the cookware. There was one only Pyrex dish which was chipped so we wouldn't use it. All of the frying pans were old, scratched Teflon, which, is of course, dangerous to use. There was an extensive set of pots which were okay. The utensils were adequate but no knife would cut even soft butter. There was a dishwasher but not dish washer detergent. The reason I am coming down so hard on this is that being able to have meals at the property is the primary reason we stay at vacation residences rather than hotels. This would not be on my top 10 of places to rent, but the exquisite comfort of the bed in the master bedroom brings it up to my top 7.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Really not happy with the fact that there is no wifi in the property despite advertised as such. Felt cheated. Once called to ask, they updated the amenities on the website. Wouldn't have chosen this property had they listed correctly that there's no wifi. Also, emailed the host asking about availability of a crib, didn't expect them to have it but they never cared to respond.

Stayed Sep 13, 2020The home and location on the golf course was beautiful. Loved the deer that greeted us in the back yard. Sadly the extremely hazardous air quality from the wildfires made it almost impossible to breathe outside as well as inside, so for health reasons we were forced to leave first thing the morning after arriving. Our lungs are still affected two weeks later. Given these unusual conditions it's not fair to give an accurate review. It was however disappointing and unsafe given the fire threat to have absolutely no cell coverage (T-mobile) , no land line, no internet/wifi and no cable. We would love to come back under better circumstances. Hopefully trip insurance will cover our loss.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were excited to stay at this house located in PML community overlooking the golf course. Location is indeed very good. The rest of the experience was super negative. When management company Vacasa communicated with us about this property there was absolutely NO mentioning that the house lacks internet / WiFi connection. We paid high $s per night with all the fees It is absolutely unacceptable not being able to use your cell or a computer while renting a house for such price. We came with 2 kids who were supposed to attend zoom classes and they couldn’t. We had to drive 2 miles away at 7:30am on missed school days to be able to get WiFi and report absence. Plus it was my big BD celebration with close family and the plan was to connect with numerous friends and relatives around the world via zoom on that day, all of which wasn’t possible? The email that Vacasa sent prior to our arrival contained the following: “if you are not able to connect to the internet, reload the router “ which in fact we located in working condition but there was no network name and password provided. When the problem was detected I couldn’t even call Vacasa customer care because my phone didn’t work ( no WiFi) and spent an hour driving around to just locate a spot miles away from the house where I could get WiFi and call Vacasa customer care. . What was even more upsetting when I finally got through, the rep offered cold “ I am sorry” and no willingness to help. She was absolutely indifferent to the situation plus refused to connect to the manager. Other details : house wasn’t clean, dirt in the drawers, insects on the counter, super old utensils/plates/ with chipped off edges, dated furniture, beds not comfortable, etc. But to us the main flaw was this horrendous misrepresentation of the property as far as WiFi capabilities and no customer service. People can’t be disconnected from school or work paying such high price per night, especially in the current COVID situation when everything is remote.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The home had dirty silverware, hair ties on the floor in one room, jelly bean in another room and hair on floor in both bathrooms floors and in showers. In the master bedroom there was large amounts of dog hair in the bed linen. No matter how nice the home is cleanliness issues are what set the tone of the stay and really never felt comfortable in the home due to that.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We rented this house for a second time because we loved it. Because of COVID19 we were not allowed on the beach and that is ok, but staying in the house without any way to communicate was a little bit scary for us. Thanks God everything went well, but just a suggestion - at least landline should work.

Visits from deer, turkeys and other birds from the golf fairway in the backyard. Garage has been converted to a play room with ping pong and Foosball. Lacking internet and cable TV.
