Upstairs, adjacent to one another is the guest bedroom and second master bedroom. These bedrooms share an elegant bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The master suite features a private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. All bathrooms feature granite countertops, Moen fixtures, and raised height vanities.

Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses*! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:

- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence.

- Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. This access has a small parking area at the access (~$3-$5 for parking) and bathrooms, but the walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed & beach service is not available at this location.

- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.

*Note: Prominence homes access the beach via South Walton public beach access points. Most guests typically use the Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public access points. Prominence homes do not offer direct beach access through the Watersound Club, nor do they provide access to the private Watersound Club facilities.



Parking in Prominence (North and South):

- North Prominence Triplex (A, B, C) Unit Parking: Parking is only allowed in the garage (if available) and/or the driveway of the unit being rented. Parking in unassigned driveways is prohibited and may result in towing or fines. No street parking or overflow parking is permitted in Prominence North. Additional parking is available at The Big Chill (formerly The Hub).

- South Prominence Parking: Parking is available in the driveway or garage of the home (if available). Street parking is allowed, but additional parking in the gravel spots on Pleasant and Clipper streets is first-come, first-served.

- Pool Parking: No overnight parking is allowed at the pool area.

- Trailer/Boat Parking: There is no trailer parking available.



Golf Cart/LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) Rentals in Prominence: If your property does not come with a golf cart, you are only permitted to rent one through 30A Gulf Carts. Prominence strictly allows the rental of street-legal golf carts for guest use through this provider only. Questions regarding this policy should be directed to the Prominence HOA.

Nearby Grocery Shopping: Publix at Watersound Origins, located on US 98 at North Watersound Parkway, approximately 3 miles away. Publix in Watercolor Crossing, located on South County Hwy 395, approximately 5 miles away.

    The property and amenities were great. Only issue was the AC went out the first day. It was repaired on our last day of vacation but just a small hiccup. I would highly recommend this property for stays

    The tv in family room remote did not work we called beachwalk vacations for 3 days and they did not replace.i was traveling with my grandkids so no tv did not go over well . There was hair on the bed linen in the kids room the pots and pans in kitchen were dirty and need to be replaced the golf cart was filthy inside and has terrible steering when u get to a certain speed and needs to be updated with a new golf cart

    My family rented this house because of the golf cart and it was big enough to hold all of us. The first night we took the golf cart out and it stalled. We were stuck on the side of the road. I reached out and told them that what had happened and was then told that they had it looked at before our check in and was told the batteries were bad. We never heard back from them about fixing it. You really need a golf cart to get around. It makes it so much easier. Also the garage door is broke. For it to close you have to pull down on it as it is trying to close. Sometimes that worked and sometimes it didn't. The blinds were broke in the dining room. And the T.V. in the living room is messed up. It has a blue hue to whatever you watch. Some of the bikes were messed up. The pedals were messed up. So not only we couldn't ride the golf cart, not everyone was able to ride bikes. Overall we were very upset with this stay. I will probably not stay here again.

    We have stayed at multiple units in this neighborhood and this one is by far the dirtiest. Upon arrival, the downstairs toilet was stopped up (we were able to use a plunger and get it unstopped). There was a half eaten pop tart under one of the recliners in the living room. There were obvious food crumbs on the coffee table. The patio furniture, on the back porch, was covered in dirt and unusable. On top of all of that, the golf cart had mechanical issues and died on one of our short trips across the street. On a positive note, the unit is nice, roomy, and well decorated. The unit accommodated 4 adults, two toddlers, and two infants very well. The unit is a short drive to our favorite beach location and the Big Chill across the street, provided very convenient options for food, drinks, and coffee. This unit has very high potential, hence the 3 out of 5 star rating, but I highly recommend a new cleaning company.

    We loved most everything about this location. The home was beautiful and well maintained. It could use some updated kitchen cookware but overall had everything we needed. The golf cart and bikes were great but due to having younger children we did also bring theirs. The golf cart stalled a couple of times so the furthest we took it was the public beach access a couple of miles away. Everything is easy to get to, especially the Big Chill across the road from the community. The resort style pool occupied a lot of our time and was awesome! The auto communication from the property manager was a lot and often duplicated but reaching them was less easy. We had an issue when we first arrived that we had to make a couple of calls to reach them and when I tried to connect with them prior to our stay, I never heard from them. Overall no major issues and we were pleased with the house. We will definitely be booking again!

    Would recommend for families with small children who enjoy playing in the pool. The beach was a haul and had to drive or ride bikes. Would not recommend for over 6 people due to small bedrooms. Must be 21 to drive golf cart.

    Really enjoyed the space and location wasn’t too far from beach; nice pool close by! Plenty of space for our family of 5 and love the open floor plan & washer/dryer. Golf cart was a fun bonus. Appreciated the beach toys, chairs & paddle board, etc… Bikes were fun but a couple need maintenance. One of the dining chairs needs fixed & the Livingroom furniture isn’t the most comfortable. Nice, clean family oriented neighborhood with restaurants & shops nearby. Enjoyed our stay!

    Overall good place. Very nice neighborhood on 30A. Beautiful rental. The Chill across the street was great! Lots of shops and food places. Golf cart was a nice bonus with unit. Some things that were not so great… Floor was filthy. Not sure it’s ever been mopped. Living room furniture was the most uncomfortable furniture ever. Not great for relaxing after long day at the beach. The beds weren’t great either. If you’re counting on sleeping on sofa beds then definitely bring memory foam toppers, the floor would have been more comfortable than those beds. No extra blankets so bring those. Not enough washcloths or hand towels. Be prepared to wash towels daily. Beach access was tricky and parking was hard to find so be prepared to walk long distances. Pool was so crowded everyday we didn’t swim, but it looked like a nice pool. The stove didn’t work. They did provide hot plates but kept tripping the breaker. Would have been nice to know before we bought groceries to cook.
