The cottage was the perfect place for our group to stay at while we was there ice fishing. The cottage was very warm inside despite temps below 0 degrees our whole stay. Another bonus is there is lake access right by the cottage that a person could use to get on the ice. Lathan was very responsive to our questions and was a very good host. We would definitely stay here again on our annual ice fishing trip to Lake Simcoe.

Host was very receptive to our needs. Mattresses could use an upgrade. Very uncomfortable. Other than that it suited our needs.

This was a great retreat away from the city. Beaches were nearby as listed. Great way to get away with friends for quiet time out of the city!

Great communication and quick response to our queries. It's not in Beaverton where the rest of our family is, but it's a nice place close to Lake Simcoe. Our big problem was the heat. We are all from Ottawa and we are used to temps that are a bit cooler. It seemed like we could use the fans to get to an acceptable temp in the main area but the bedrooms was too hot for a good sleep.
