fine decorated small vintage beach house with pacific sunset view right out of window. the location is unbeatable, 1 min walk to tidal pools and beach, grocery within 6 minutes and local restaurants close by. Property manager is very nice and responsive.

There was plenty of space for our 3 generation family vacation. The house was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the ocean view, being able to walk across the street to the tidepools, and watching the sunset from the front yard. The firepit was perfect for family time after dinner.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The house is well decorated and cared for, but a little dated. Note that the carpets have a humidity smell and there is no dishwasher in the kitchen. The views are gorgeous though! Although small, this house provided for everything else we needed: beach toys, board games, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, extra blankets. And Santuary Vacation staff is always very responsive.

We loved our stay! It was great for the kids ages 3 and 5. Such a cool beach house. Perfect location. The deer in the yard everyday was very special for the kids. The tide pools and beach right across the street were perfect. We are taking about going yearly! Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house!

The home location is absolutely perfect! Right across from the street from the beach with easy beach access. Views of the ocean from so many windows and lovely friendly deer. The property is older (1960's) and it shows. With a little updating the house would be great! One of the more frustrating parts for us was the lack of ease in reaching the host. We had a very hard time. After several days we were in contact and they were extremely easy to work with and for that we were super grateful. The other thing we wish was that the kitchen was better stocked with some of the every day items. If you are planning on cooking please beware of a few things: There is no dishwasher, no garbage disposal and there are no items needed for cooking besides pots and pans. The basics like salt or pepper were empty. The can opener was so old it hardly worked so if you are planning on cooking, bring everything you need. It was one of the worst stocked homes we've stayed at. The BBQ was broken and no propane for an option of cooking. Now with the complaints being mentioned above the home's location would draw us back and I would just bring each item we might need.

Clean and comfortable home, plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen clean and well equipped. Location was wonderful, direct ocean frontage! Would definitely recommend!

Great rental. Kitchen well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Could not ask for a better location, literally right across the street from the beach. House was clean.

Pictures don't do it justice! Lovely home that is larger than I expected with nice updates. Couldn't ask for a better location and view. The deer came into the yard daily and with the binoculars we found there we could watch the sea otters from the window.

Loved every minute of our stay-so close to the ocean, very comfortable, great fireplace, comfortable beds, very clean. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect property to gather the family to celebrate our son’s graduation from CSUMB. The view was amazing, the accommodations were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed multiple visits from deer in the front of the property. We will definitely use this property again!

This beach house is a really cool place. Right across street from lots of little beaches and many tide pools. Asilomar state beach is about a quarter of a mile down the road. There is an unobstructed view of the ocean from every room of the house. Very clean, with everything you need and more! I would come back to this place for sure. Awesome stay in Pacific Grove with the family!

We loved our time here at this lovely home in Pacific Grove! The house was clean and well maintained. There are ocean views from almost every room in the house. We have 3 teenage daughters and we had plenty of room to spread out. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. We spent time in Big Sur and Monterey Bay.

The overall cleanliness of the place is subpar, in fact I'd say it's gross. There were cobwebs on fixtures and throughout the house; kitchen utensils, dishes & cookware were very old & had food particles on them (we had to rewash everything to even feel comfortable using it); very old pots and pans where the teflon is peeling off and would end up in your food; the air return for the heating system was covered with dust & dirt that we could easily wipe off with our fingers; exterior windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while and we struggled to even see the amazing view (BTW, I sprayed them with the hose and found a mop in the garage to wipe them down. It took me 10 minutes & we could see through them clearly!) If only whoever cleans the place would take the time to do the same; One bedroom had something spilled and splattered on the wall that could've easily been wiped off; towel bar in the bathroom was coming out of the wall. I could go on and on. It's really too bad the people or person who owns this place is more concerned about making a buck off of the view versus having repeat renters. All of these issues wouldn't even be issues if they invested some time in keeping the place clean and a little money to keep it updated, including kitchen utensils, glassware & cookware! Get rid of all the old crap that is over flowing in all of the cabinets! I would never stay here again.

We have stayed here several times over the years. A few suggestions: Window shade broken by dining room table. Several windows no longer have screens including the corner bedroom upstairs. Downstairs bathroom window no longer opens. Windex to clean downstairs windows would be helpful when needed. Instructions to operate TV’s would be helpful. I didn’t know we couldn’t get sports.

We enjoyed our stay at the house while in town for my son's wedding. The location was perfect for wedding pictures on the beach as well as relaxing in between the busy activities while we stayed. We especially enjoyed all of the windows that looked out on the coast and the warm fireplace during morning coffee. The house was very comfortable, and we would be back if the need arose.

The location is on point! You have perfect ocean views from every room of the house.. and you on my cross one small street and you are on the beach! Not to mention there is a beautiful trail right in front as well. We had fun with the kids climbing rocks and playing in the sand. Inside had mostly what you need but lacked cooking basics like salt, cooking spray/oil, etc. So bring what you need for kitchen/cooking. They had plenty of plates & cups though. You may to hunt for extra blankets and clean them first as needed. Bathrooms had only soap & a bit of shampoo so bring what you may need. Other than those minor things the house is in the perfect location and we enjoyed it very much! We will be back!

Stunning location just across the road from the beach. Comfortable house, comfortable beds. Loved the family photos on the wall and the history they brought. As a person with limited mobility, it was great to be so close to the beach This was a special, relaxing vacation and we would all love to return.

The property location is incredible! Could not have asked for a better location and the view absolutely stunning. The home was cozy and inviting. We are already planning another trip and bringing friends so we can share this experience. I appreciated the clear communication and what not to do. Which was very minimal! Check in and check out super simple. I am thankful they allow people to share their family beach house. My husband and I could feel the good vibes/energy the minute we stepped foot in the house.

This house is right on the coast. Amazing trails just across the street. Easy access to anywhere on the Bay. We loved it.

You cannot beat the location. Great place to stay, right on the water! Barely a walk to look at tide pools and sand. Fall asleep with the waves!

I stay at this house every time i go up to Pacific grove the views are stunning. Im a family of 7 and it is homily feeling you feel like your right at home with this house. Abt a 2 min walk tops to the beach and abt 15 drive to anywhere you need to go. Properly manager is grea to work with gets back to yiu right away will be staying here again.

Great view and very relaxing home. Kitchen needs a dishwasher. Check in was delayed an hour due to cleaning crew not vacating the property.

Excellent location. Deer visited the front yard every morning. Parking for 3+ cars, could probably fit six cars in the driveway if you really tried. No dishwasher, no problem. Photos need updating, as some of the furniture is different than pictured. More photos would be helpful for people to get an understanding of the floor plan. The shower head in the downstairs bathroom is low (approx. 5'6 high). Kitchen chairs need some attention. The legs on most are loose. All in all, the house is a great getaway. Would stay again.

We enjoy the daily walks along the beach. Views of the ocean and scenic coastline are visible from almost every window from sunrise to sunset.

It’s a beautiful property with the best view! The beach is just across the street! Love that!We did start with a bit of a hiccup/confusion with the property not being clean upon arrival but it was promptly taken care of and the situation made right. We would definitely stay again if in the area! Easy distance to restaurants, shops. Plenty of room!
