Stayed May 17, 2026We stayed at this property while visiting our daughter and son-in-law who are stationed in Cape May with the Coast Guard after they welcomed a new baby. The house was absolutely wonderful. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more while hosting family during our stay. The location was extremely convenient to the Coast Guard base, which made everything so easy. We didn’t make it to the beach this trip, but it was very close by as well. This home truly made a special family visit even better. Highly recommend.

Stayed Sep 20, 2025Beautiful set up house, and back yard, stayed there with a toddler, and two dogs. The house was clean, set up well, the backyard was perfect both for hanging out, and for the dogs to play. The host had great communication, and gave suggestions on activities. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Beautiful home! We loved the upstairs game room/TV lounge with balcony access. This property is super clean and extremely well organized. Everything you need is well labeled. There is even an adorable coffee/tea center with every type of accoutrement you desire for the perfect cup.The yard is charming and fenced for dog friendliness. The house is a 4 minute walk through a charming neighborhood to a beautiful bay beach. Would definitely come back!

Stayed Jul 4, 2025We decided kinda last minute to do something fun for the weekend of the 4th. I needed a dog friendly option. Cape May popped up on my search which was a great middle destination for us who are from Northern Virginia and our daughter who lives in NYC.The house was even better that described, easy check in, they were even able to grant us access an hour early even though they had back to back bookings. Our dog was relaxed in the house, the place was clean, had plenty of TVs, each bedroom had easy ports to charge all of our devices. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The king bed in the primary room was very comfy. Loved the deck on the second floor, it was my morning coffe spot. The sofa in the upstairs family room would be comfy for an extra sleeping spot. Although the shower was in the dormer ceiling it was very roomy. Kitchen was well equipped and had a regular coffee pot and a kureg with a fully stocked coffee bar! Back yard was securely fenced in for our fur baby to run around. Thank you for putting so much thought into your home! We enjoyed our stay!!

Stayed Jun 20, 2025We loved our weekend weekend at the DCTC in Cape May. The host were on point with the description and we found the cottage just as described on the VRBO listing. It is a very short walk to the beach. The cottage was stocked with everything needed. It was great to find out linens were available and part of the inclusive price. I am greatful for the host to offer great value.

Stayed Apr 30, 2025We arrived in early May and were very excited based on the good reviews and pictures of the property. It was exciting to take our two dogs with us to Cape May! We were so disappointed in our stay.#1: A Dead RatUpon arrival, we found a dead rat left by someone in the downstairs toilet!! We would have left immediately but had nowhere else to go. #2: Dangerous Backyard for DogsThe next morning, when our dogs went outside, we found several dozen construction nails and screws left throughout the yard after construction. We spent most of our first day cleaning the back yard so our dogs could go back there without any hurt paws. It was a mess!#3: The TemperatureWe had great weather, but the owner is so restrictive with the thermostats. It was 80'son the second floor, and in the upper 70's on the first floor. We adjusted the thermostat to make it more comfortable upon arrival, However, the thermostat was reset on us every few hours to make it uncomfortable. Either the owner has programed the thermostat to automatically do that, or controlling it remotely and turning it up on us every few hours during our stay. We will not back! And we do not recommend this property / owner for anyone wishing to have a save, clean place to go with their pet buds near Cape May!What a disaster!

Stayed Apr 16, 2025We try to visit the Cape May area each spring to celebrate our anniversary, so we’ve stayed in several vacation rentals. This one was definitely one of our favorites! With its cozy decor, comfortable furniture, and multiple amenities, it felt like home. Check-in was easy, and settling in was a breeze, since linens and basic supplies were provided. We enjoyed the 65” Roku 4K television while reclining comfortably in the TV/Game Room. We ate breakfast in the three-season room and relaxed in the living room while strolling down Memory Lane with some Little Golden Books from our childhood. The neighborhood is quiet and only a block and a half from the bay, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Since Cape May is bustling during Easter Week, we appreciated being away from the crowds in town but only a few minutes drive away. Dreams Come True Cottage was a lovely place to stay!

Stayed Feb 7, 2025Very quiet well maintained older home.Downside .... i t.v. in a 3 bedroom home. Unusual difficult if someone needs tv on to sleep. More people need it than not. T.V room upstairs ok but as people who rent homes a dozen times a year , this was a first. Other than that , quite fineDDifficult if someone needs to
