Reviewer Comments: The house is divided among three floors, with the topmost floor being the very nice master bed with gorgeous master bath; the other two adequate and tidy rooms on the ground floor; and the kitchen and living rooms in the middle. Kitchen was well appointed and expertly lit, and the living rooms were cozy and had plenty of room.Location wise you could hardly ask for more: a brief walk to Lover's Point in one direction, and another brief walk to the main commercial street of Pacific Grove in the other direction. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to the Monterey area!

Large kitchen for family dinners. Spacious yet cozy sitting room for games, movies and unwinding. A small fenced yard to take the dogs out off lease. The host was very thorough with instructions and stocking necessities. Checking in/out was simple. Truely one of the best rentals I've booked.

Beautiful house, great location for walking, efficient and attentive hosts.

Lovely home, super clean and fully stocked with extra towels and linens for everyone. We loved the location very much. The walk to town was so beautiful. We really appreciate the fact that we were able to have our small dogs and that there was grass and a park directly across the street. Our only complaint is the beds on the 1st floor were pretty uncomfortable…especially the trundle bed that had a single slat running down the middle of the bed. For an adult this was very uncomfortable to sleep on. All in all this house is Beautiful, Clean, and perfectly located…5 stars when they fix the bed situation.

Nice clean and great location. Three levels, my 83 year old mom was with us, the stairs were a bit much for her. If you don’t mind Stairs, this is a wonderful location.

My family and I had a great time at this property. It was perfect for our family. Great walking distance to beach and downtown Pacific Grove. Property is great if you’re traveling with a pet, as there’s a park across the street and a small fenced in yard in front of the home. Only thing that we wish we would have known in advance is that there’s only one TV in the home.

Shops, restaurants and the Aquarium are all just a few minutes walk away and Carmel and Monterey are all a short drive. Since it was rainy season, loved the two gas fireplaces as well!

Very comfortable stay! Loved the fully stocked kitchen with quality dishes and everything needed to make meals at home. Perfect location, close to downtown and our little one loved the park across the street.

We walked everywhere: the shore path, local restaurants, and even the butterfly grove. We saw whales in the bay...amazing. Parking was easy (on the street) if you have a large car. As noted in the description -- there are (many) stairs in the lovely home. :) The SVC team was wonderfully helpful in getting us a prompt replacement coffee pot when the one in the house broke. Superb!

This trip was very special as we were celebrating our Mom's 80th birthday. As my parents love the California coast, Pacific Grove was the perfect place for this joyous time together. The house was just as we expected, we gathered together on the second floor where the kitchen and living space to share laughs over meals and watch our sports team. Another treat was the house was walking distance to several delicious restaurants that we enjoyed over our stay. We would recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy the Monterey and Carmel area. Perfect location and beds were comfy!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Caledonia Bay. Property was very spacious with a huge family room, good size kitchen and dining area, along with 3 ample bedrooms. It was well cleaned and stocked with necessary essentials. Location is close to perfect, about a 5 minute walk to the water and downtown. Big Sur, 17 mile drive, all close by The price point while a bit higher than other properties, is well worth it if you value size and location. If we find our way back to the Monterey we would strongly consider staying here again

The kitchen is well outfitted with lots of space and the bedrooms have comfortable beds. The living room has plenty of room for lounging in. The lovely little patio is too small for medium sized dogs to hang out in, so you can walk them over to a green space across the street.The hot water requires some adjustment in the upstairs bathroom, so you might have someone show you how.We loved the location and could just fit our van into the garage.
