Lovely house, short walk to ocean, fabulous walks along water. Lots of light in house, great beds, super main bedroom.

Our family had such a wonderful time staying at Point Break. The kids loved the house, the beds were so comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious. Would highly recommend!

You can walk to just about anything - 25 minutes to aquarium, two blocks from beach, etc. The appointments for the house very good. The EV charger, while supplied with 50 AMP service, is dialed down to a very low rate. It’s ineffective. The owners should raise the preset. I unplugged it and used my own cord.The house is perfect for six people (3 couples), with four sharing a bathroom. We had two couples and two children and it was perfect.The property management company is excellent. They respond immediately and are helpful on every aspect of staying in Monterey. We will definitely stay here again.

The location was quiet and central to many areas…beach, walking trail, farmers market and restaurants. The house was perfectly comfortable for our family of 6. The kitchen could have used some oil for basic supplies but overall had all the basics we needed. We had a wonderful stay and when we needed something the property managers were very responsive.

The house was perfect for a family getaway. Very clean house with some added bonuses (beach chairs, board games, complimentary bottle of wine). The location is the best part. Walking distance to Lovers Point, which is the perfect beach for small children with plenty of food options nearby. Will definitely be coming back!

It is a lovely home and one of the very few with 3 bedrooms and 3 king beds. We loved sitting in front of the living room fireplace as well as the one in the master suite. Everything was in top condition with superior bedding and towels. The kitchen was well appointed with anything you might need. Having a garage was a plus. A lovely backyard with a fire pit and barbeque that we happily used several evenings. We will only use Sanctuary Vacation Rentals because of their personal and exceptional service, attention to detail, beautiful homes and caring assistance. We look forward to staying again at Point Break as well as trying some of Sanctuary rentals in Pacific Grove other immaculate homes.

The home was a joy to stay in. Location was great and able to walk to shops and restaurants. The only negative I'd like to report, is that handrails should be installed in the main bathroom shower/bath. tub a bit slippery.

Neighbor trash and junk was visible from the upstairs and downstairs windows. The carpet in the property at Point Break was stained and the backyard patio furniture and stairs were very dirty. The patio furniture was covered in spiders and cobwebs. When this was communicated to the property management company it was not addressed. The property has a two car garage but it was just too narrow for my daughter to park her Toyota Camry in. There were also NO screens on any of the windows and the daytime weather warranted having the windows open at night. This is NOT a property I would recommend especially for the price.

Everything was perfect! Walking distance to everything we needed and wanted to do. We will definitely rent this property next time we return to Monterey…

You can walk to everything in Pacific Grove--you're maybe two blocks from Lover's Point and a few more from restaurants, shops, museums. Further, the place is well-furnished and well-kept. There is plenty of driveway and street parking, and the yard is fenced (if you're traveling with a canine companion.) We would absolutely rent this place again.

We have a family member who will be attending the Navy Postgraduate School in Monterey. We were able to have a short family visit with all of our family. The space allowed us to have a family meal, watch movies, but access the beach and have fun.

Spacious and well appointed. Great location. If I could improve on a couple of things it would be perfect; they are more trash receptacles than just bathroom and kitchen and a better Keurig Machine. We had a great time though. Beds were comfortable. I loved not having to deal with the public car chargers-the last time we were here, 3 of 4 were not working. We have two electric cars and were able to drive from Sacramento to Pacific Grove on a single charge.

Location is great about 6 houses from beach and 2 blocks from restaurants. House is as described, check in and out a breeze. One tiny point for improvement would be privatizing the glass for both the front and back doors. Literally, anyone walking by can see in through the mostly plain glass front door.

We all fell in love with this home and the short distance to the Lover's Point and down town Pacific Grove was such a bonus. We walked everywhere including Cannery Row and the aquarium. We made very special memories with the grandkids (ages 7 and 3). They can't wait to go back and the adults agree.

The larger master suite was perfect for my daughter and son-in-law since they had a 10 month old. The yard was fenced so the dog could go out and walk around when needed. The house is so close to the beach and many restaurants. Very nice to have a garage space we could fit our Cr-v in. Also has a driveway that will hold 2 cars. We would definitely stay there again.

This house was great for our family. Updated, clean, comfy beds, well built (not one creaky floor). Wedged between downtown Pacific Grove and Lovers' Point Beach, the location is ideal for walking. We would stay here again.

The house was impeccably clean. The management company was extremely responsive, replying within minutes and was highly communicative. The effort of providing a comfortable stay was apparent at every faster of our stay. Entry and access were a breeze. The unit was comfortable - everything from the layout to the heater, to the beds, to the beautiful furniture and hospitable touches - coffee and wine. The entire house was beautiful and high quality. The location is good and you can walk to so many places. We would definitely consider staying there again.

The property was beyond our expectations with very large bedrooms, a large living room, and a large kitchen/dining room area. The property is located a block from the ocean and allowed us to take some great walks along the water during our stay. the property is also about 3 blocks aways from the downtown Pacific Grove area which is very quaint with many restaurants and shops. The property is also only 5 minutes away from Monterey and 15 minutes away from Carmel. It was a nice stay for our family. The only issues we had were the bathrooms including the showers were not well cleaned before our stay, and the outside trash cans were full. We cleaned the bathrooms ourselves, and we called the property management company to have the trash company come to pick up the trash.

The house is in a perfect location: couple blocks to Lover’s Beach, 20 minute walk to the aquarium and Cannery Road, and short drives to Carmel, Bixby Bridge and many other spots. the managers keep this home very clean and everything worked. the windows allow the cool air in and so the lack of a/c is not a problem. the bedrooms all have king beds and the bathrooms are clean and modern. nice home!
