3788 Seagull's Nest ~ Walk to Town and the Beach

The house was very clean with nice bedding and towels. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. The bathrooms were somewhat small and the living room could have had more comfortable furniture. The location was good if you are able bodied to walk a bit. It was in a quiet neighborhood except for the morning seagulls, which makes it aptly named. We had a very pleasant stay overall.

Beautiful property, excellent location in close proximity to downtown Pacific Grove, local stores and the aquarium. My only callouts are that the entrance is via stairs, the living / TV room isn’t comfortably set-up for more than two people, say if watching a movie with kids. Both bathrooms are downstairs. Aside from these mostly minor items, the owner has really made for a great place to stay (comfortable beds, linens, towels, coffee makers, Blackstone griddle) and thoughtfully provided wine and cheese at welcome. We would visit again in the future.

It was a really nice location and mostly fit the description. There was also a nice touch of cheese, crackers, & wine at check in. The only complaints are that check-in process wasn’t communicated at all and checkout was a little all over the place. For reference, there’s written instructions posted next to a key box by the door. For checkout, they send you to document that references the house rule book (never found it) and a Google Doc that you’re supposed to fill out, but can’t because it’s locked and only available digitally. The checkout process on the list was fairly standard, but it felt like they wanted some documentation as proof and no way to provide it. Anyway, nice house, great town, great location. I’d stay again.

The place was a perfect getaway. The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and very well situated. We appreciated that the place was pet friendly - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was one of the best rentals I have stayed in! Very clean and comfortable and just as advertised in the listing. The home is close to cute shops, restaurants and the water. I will definitely be coming back!!

Location is fantastic. House is very clean and cozy! Ease of booking and communication is great although the Sanctuary rep and cleaning person came at 10am even though we were granted late check out at 11am and they were not made aware.

Very cute home in a great location. We could walk to restaurants, coffee shops, even the aquarium! Well maintained and clean. Property manager checked in by text and phone several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Wonderful!

Great comfortable spot for our small family!

Cute property in a great location. Nicely updated while maintaining original charm. Minor issues with hot water in one of the showers. Super clean, had everything we needed. Information about staying at the property, including specific instructions, were clear & to-the-point. We were 4 adult occupants to the 6 or 7 max limit; 3 adults sharing one of the 2 tiny bathrooms for a week was a bit...challenging. I couldn't recommend it for 6 or 7 adults who are accustomed to more space but we did enjoy our stay there.

We had a chance to meet up with family and spent several nights in Pacific Grove. House was in a great location with lots to do in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay over New Year’s Eve. We walked to the downtown area where there were several restaurants, coffee shops, and markets. We walked to the aquarium along the beach which was beautiful, a bit windy that day but we were bundled up. The home is well supplied with all cooking supplies and had extra blankets and good WiFi and we appreciated the organized kitchen and communication. We had several meals around the large dining room table that had a bench on one side so could seat up to seven (although we had 5). The complimentary wine, cheese, and crackers was a nice touch! A great home away from home.
