3747 Bungalow by-the-Sea - Adorable, Cozy Cottage

Once seated you were behind a wall of shrubbery that provided privacy. The neighbor to the right is extremely noisy. When I opened the windows in the bedroom I caught her with her ear to the window attempting to over hear my phone conversation.

It has lots of windows and plantation shutters throughout, which were great for letting sunlight in by day, and keeping the cold out at night. The beds were super comfortable, and the bed linens were good quality. The kitchen was well stocked with attractive dinnerware, and decent cookware. There was a comfortable sofa in the living area, but that was the only seating option. It would be nice to have at least one easy chair and good reading lamp available. There's a great big screen TV with both cable and streaming options, and a second TV in the master bedroom. The cottage is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It's about a 15 minute walk to town, and the coastal trail, which is just a bit further than I like. Overall, I liked this cottage very much. I just wish it was closer to town.

Overall we enjoyed the property, however, there is a definite issue with small ants both inside and outside the house.

Perfect for two people and a dog, with a large forested park half a block away. Wonderful location - walkable to the ocean and to downtown Pacific Grove. Very quiet neigborhood. Just a note- I would not recommend this house for 2 couples, as there is only one sofa for evening TV viewing or conversations. Folding chairs are fine for dining, but not relaxation.

This is a wonderful and charming bungalow that was perfect for the two of us. It is close to downtown Pacific Grove and the recreation trail. We loved the gas fireplace and all the modern amenities. In fact, we so enjoyed our stay that we plan to return next winter!

Sanctuary Vacation Rentals always does a great job. Beautifully appointed and any issues addressed promptly. This particular property is as described by previous reviews...nice, quiet and still too small living room chairs:)

I broke my leg the 1st day!!Spent 2 weeks in hospital- came “home” Christmas Eve- and luckily had my stepdaughter care for me 3weeks! The cottage was light and bright- cheery- to recuperate!! And Property mgmt. was awesome!!THANKYOU!
