This gave our group the opportunity to go to and from the house without a car & to not always have stay together as a group! The view from the living room & master bedroom was so beautiful! We also enjoyed sitting on the upper patio on the lounge chairs. House was very clean & had more than enough room to accommodate us!

Eautiful home with view of the ocean over the treetops. Fully equipped kitchen and all the amenities you’d expect. Lots of stairs so not handicap accessible. Great for a family with children.

Great place for families with a bunk room for 4 kids. Location is excellent…walk to beach and town as advertised. We were four adults in a golf group so sharing bathrooms was a bit challenging as it was for the one who pulled the short bunk room straw. Kitchen perfectly equipped for indoor and outdoor cooking. The patio has built in heaters and has a beautiful view of the ocean when the fog lifts. All I all a good stay.

The house was so cozy and perfect for our group of 4.The exterior and garden is so pretty and relaxing. It was very clean. We had a rental car and drove everywhere, but this property is in very close proximity to all restaurants, shopping and activities! Highly recommend this property!

Ad gives you the impression that you are closer to the water, but you can barely see a sliver through the trees. Overall, fantastic place.

It is a beautiful home with plenty of living space for large families. It does not have air-conditioning, but for most of the year it isn't necessary anyway. I would recommend the home to anyone looking to vacation in Carmel.

This was probably the best home I’ve ever rented! From the decor, coziness, the thorough explanations of how to use all the amenities…there was no detail missed! I certainly hope to stay at this home again in the future.

We gathered family to attend the funeral of my brother. Everything was perfect and we had a very nice stay.The cottage was immaculate and very well appointed. There were outside heaters to calm the cold coastal weather. Contact with the Sanctuary team was quite easy.My only complaint was that there were no kitchen towels. There were paper towels but I searched long and hard for kitchen towels to dry the hand washed dishes.

This home was fantastic, especially for our extended family trip. We had a set of grandparents, and sibling with his spouse, another sibling, and 4 kids aged 1 to 9. The home worked great! It’s walking distance to the town center and beach. Our kids did it just fine, even with some hilly stretches. It was a wonderful property and we are thankful to have had the use of it.

I brought my large family of 8 kids to this place and it was a great experience. Beautiful neighborhood and great place to stay. Views of the ocean from our bedroom window. My kids loved the playroom and the bunkbeds downstairs. We will definitely be back.
