I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My input would be as follows:Sanctuary staff - first rate. Dont know where you are getting your team, but every interaction is great. They are mature, competent, helpful, intelligent...House - second year we have rented, it has definitely showing the wear. Some examples: The kitchen cabinets need some help one kept coming off the hinge. I repaired as I could but did not have tools. The ice machine on the fridge is not working properly. I emptied it twice, and turned it off as it kept jamming and leaking to the floor. There are nail pops on the floor, we had a foot cut from a young grandchild, I tapped a few down, but likely needs some professional help. Similarly on the floor there are scratches from the chairs. Two chairs did not have rubber grommets on the bottom. I bought some but they are too big. However I wanted something on them. The pots and pans and other cooking stuff need some organization and upgrading. Lots of stuff but all over the place, further need to have fewer nice stuff in the right sizes (e.g. Teflon pans that stick, only one metal spatula). Some other nits but nothing major, love the house, feel bad that some renters are so hard on it. Only thing else to mention is to supply with some better quality toilet paper, and more little things that we did not bring like kitchen supplies, wash detergent, tissue etc.Sorry for the ramble. Great team at sanctuary, Great house we will rent again. some tlc.John

The only thing that kept me from making 5 stars is the house is equipped with an eight zone sound system with controls in each room but none of them worked. We reported this to Sanctuary property management who said they would have someone call to set up an appointment to repair the next day. We never were contacted and the system never worked. Management never called to check on status.

It is light, bright, and has ocean views from multiple rooms.The home well-stocked with towels, bedding, and dishes. The kitchen is spacious and decently stocked--great selection of pots and pans. It was a wonderful month at Bliss by the Sea! My family will be returning next November.

One of the nicest I have ever seen. Unfortunately it is showing signs of wear and tear and a general lack of routine maintenance. I left a list of recommended repairs before we left with Sanctuary. (I inspect buildings for our church properties in Morgan Hill. We will be renting again next year and we are hopeful repairs will have been made by then.

While we appreciate the responsiveness from Sanctuary, you may want to encourage the owner to make improvements. It took three requests and visits to fix 1st floor toilet. While the location is great, we were disappointed with the house. While we understand that homes along the coast age quicker, we are surprised by the lack of maintenance.

Kitchen and bathroom supplies were so well stocked. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear. A special thank you to Susan, who was accessible and great to work with when we needed help with cable TV and outside grill issues! Two suggestions to the owner would be to upgrade the furniture in the living area and purchase a new outdoor grill and fire pit cover. Thanks!

Bliss By The Sea is perfectly located between Pacific Grove and Monterey (Cannery Row), a short walk to both. The property is very homey, professionally managed and well apportioned. It was perfect for out stay, and we would recommend it anyone looking for similar.
