I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in Pacific Grove during July for the past 11 years. For the past five we have stayed the entire month. We were aware that Jewel by the Sea is a rental, but we'd never been able to find it available until this year. We're so glad we did! The location is great - one block from the popular Book Works coffee shop and book store. A block above Lighthouse Ave. The house is spacious, with four bedrooms and three full baths, all tastefully appointed, with many windows and decks for relaxing. My wife and I hosted our extended family for two weeks, which was wonderful. I highly recommend this house if it is available.

Although there is a lot of space, it still feels cozy. The kitchen was well designed for cooking and both fireplaces added warmth and ambiance. It is a block from the cute downtown Pacific Grove and 3 blocks from the beach and trails around the beach. We loved our stay!

It was well equipped with everything you might need, very clean and a great location. The staff at Sancutary Vacation Rentals were great as well. We loved staying here and will definitely try to stay again next time we’re in Pacific Grove.

Reviewer Comments: It was a great month celebrating both of my parents and their lives as well as family and friends. It is a great house for families and a perfect location to stay in the Pacific Grove area. From too may trips to Pavel's, golfing, sailing and great food everywhere we had a great month. This is our 3rd stay at this wonderful home!

Would certainly consider renting again. Freezer broke which took a long time and multiple visits to fix. Light in kitchen was never fixed. Would have stayed longer if extension details would have been worked out sooner,.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very nice house. Well built (quiet), with lots of nice details and touches. Quiet neighborhood, close to downtown PG as well as the waterfront - all within easy walking distance. Overall, it was just a high quality home in a great location - perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peace and beauty of PG.
