The house was comfortable and spacious, the pool was great. Cleanliness inside the house was satisfactory; outside needs some TLC. Reasonably happy with the place and price. Good location close to the beach and Mon Repos turtle centre.

We aim to rent properties from owners, so we were surprised to receive documentation from a real estate agent when we paid our deposit. The terms and conditions on Stayz were different to the T&Cs sent by the realtor. The online check in was a cause for concern, given all the scams that are out there. Unfortunately, over a barrel as they already had the deposit. This definitely loses stars for this property. When we walked in, the whole property smelt horrible from the drains in the bathrooms. Took a couple of days to air the place and remove the smell. The property is spacious and the 4 bedrooms and beds are comfortable. There are 2 fridges, which a real bonus if one does a big shop or if you want to keep a variety of drinks cool to cater for varying tastes. The swimming pool was great, however, it hadn't been filled and water level was down a few inches. We decided to have a BBQ on the Saturday evening but when we came to use the barbie there was no gas! Given the time, it was not something we could remedy on the evening. Disappointing and frustrating. There were plenty of utensils, serving dishes, plates, etc. which is great for big families or groups. Overall the property was clean, however, more attention to detail could be given to grime build up around taps and dust on bedframes, around TV, etc. Feedback was provided to the realtor but they seemed indifferent. The lack of attention to detail in regard to the property management is what reduces the overall score.

Comfortable, everything you need for a comfortable holiday. When I booked the property I requested that no deodoriser be sprayed in the house by the cleaner before our arrival because I am sensitive to such chemicals. However this seems to have been forgotten as it was obvious it had been used so consequently it gave me breathing issues and a week later, back at home I am still suffering from the episode. That was most disappointing.

A very short walk to the beach. Fully fenced and secure for little ones or pets.

We loved this house, it had everything you need, lots of room for everyone, so you are not on top of each other, it has a good outdoor area with a good BBQ, plenty of seats and a good sized table, pool toys are there, nice garden out the back, fully secure house, pet friendly, the beds are all comfortable the towels are in good condition and the linen is nice, a/c is in the family room the lounge and the main bedroom which keeps this large house cool, it is within walking distance (5mins) to the swimming beach and lagoon which is great for smaller children, this house had a few little issues which we brought to the attention of the realestate, but not enough to stop us enjoying our weeks stay, I would recommend this house , and I would also stay there again.

The location was fantastic, very easy to get to the shops and restaurants at Barbara. The house was like a home away from home, we enjoyed the feeling of seclusion (the house is beautifully designed so you don’t feel overlooked by any neighbours) and the pool and sea breeze kept us cool even when it was over 30 degrees each day. The house was also set up with every amenity, far better than staying in a serviced apartment where you run out of crockery and cutlery after one meal! 10/10 would recommend :-)
