We stayed here with family for a quick trip to the Omaha Zoo. This property was a quick drive to the zoo - less than 10 mins. The property has been updated and each room has fans or an in-window AC unit. The property is an older house so if you need more outlets, be sure to bring a power strip. Also, be aware the stairs to the bedroom downstairs are very shallow and steep - there is a warning on the door. It would be nice if there were chairs on the front and back patio. Overall it was a great stay for a 2 day trip.
The townhome was adequate. It’s not fancy, but clean. Neighbors were a little noisy.
Loved the place, downstairs stairs very tricky caused accidents but other than that very roomy and peaceful.
After a long 5 hour drive it was easy to find and check in. Very nice comfortable place for our family to relax. My only suggestion would maybe be a couple chairs in the front porch and back deck area
We were in town for a wedding. This location made it very convenient to the wedding venue. It was clean and comfortable. This property suited our needs and I loved that we only had to take care of ourselves upon departure. So many places have a long list of items to be done before you leave. All we had to do was lock the doors.
Comfortable home with plenty of room. Well-stocked kitchen. Needs a little more light on upper stairway. Nice location for dining, shopping and going to the zoo.
This venue is spacious and comfortable. We love that dogs are welcome, as we have stayed here while attending AKC scent work trials. Our dogs are at the height of their sport and well behaved, so we love the trust that the hosts give us.
This property is in such an interesting area, a mix of neighborhood blocks with lots of people out walking. There are also larger facilities, such as hospital, that give the area bustle. Parks, coffee shops, eateries in walking distance. Short drive to a grocery stores. The place is so spacious and was quiet while we were there. I reported some missing safety devices and they were installed when we got home that afternoon!
The accommodations were fine. The location was convenient for our wedding events and there was plenty of parking in back. Our biggest complaint is that the kitchen barely had anything. There were no spatulas, no wooden spoons, no tongs, no cookie sheets, only one hand towel, etc. The selection of pots and pans were awful too. We were a large group and it sure made cooking a challenge. Also, we had major problems with the internet. We finally got a hot spot a few days into our visit but it certainly did not support all of our devices. We were never able to use the TV.
The house was clean and enough room for the 10 of us. We enjoyed our stay. The management company check in to make sure our stay was pleasant. That was an added piece of mind.
The property was spacious, plenty of room to relax. It was close in proximity to the facilities/sports gyms. It was comfortable, and easily accessible from front & back of house.
The townhome was close by to all the activities we had planned in Omaha. The neighborhood/surrounding townhomes seemed a little like we were in a rougher area, and we did not feel as safe in this area. Nothing happened to us at all, however we could hear yelling and pounding from one of the adjoining townhomes which made us feel uneasy. Our townhome was nonsmoking, however the townhome next to us had occupants who were smoking and the entire upstairs to our townhome bedrooms smelled of smoke, very extreme in smell. One of our children started coughing and coughing after one night of sleeping in that room. We all felt a little stuffy/coughing after the three days there, unsure if it was from the townhome air or not. We had no crazy issues, just won’t plan on staying there again.
I specifically looked for a place with a big table for our family for card and game playing with room to spread out and relax. It was perfect for our stay with lots of restaurants, etc for us to walk to.
not great, but adequate. has anyone checked under the beds in forever.?? Absolutely filthy. Not very well stocked. No mixer, no blender, pretty much no anything. We had to go out and purchase these items for ourselves. I fully expected them to be there. This was our first rental with VRBO, and I am leaning to not using them again. You may call me if you wish to discuss further. At least the air conditioning worked. Not even a spatula.
My sister and myself, along with four small children, came down for a little vacation to Omaha for a few days. This was a spacious, clean, updated home that fit our needs perfectly! And it’s only a matter of minutes from the Zoo and downtown. We had to text the owner while we were there and got an immediate response and helped us to solve our issue with the TV. Would stay again. Would recommend.
Venue was fine and location ideal. Communication and feedback was prompt. Walls were very thin so conversations are heard from other guests. No main floor bath was an irritant but manageable. Rear entry screen was torn from door and porch light didn’t work. Met our needs for the brief visit.
This was a great place for our family to stay while in Omaha visiting loved ones. It was pet friendly and easily accessible to so many wonderful places throughout the city.
The location is great and the property is spacious! We had a group of 6 and everyone was comfortable!
