3-story dog-friendly home near the beach with private hot tub, pool, & ocean views

Had our dog too

Garbage all over the property and stuffed piles of garbage by the hot tub. Broken outdoor furniture, broken dishwasher and metal shards everywhere from the torn screens everywhere. Cleaning crew were outside smoking when we arrived. They had no begun cleaning and we were not able to check in on time after a ten hour trip. This is a HUGE inconvenience. some of the furniture in the house was also old and broken and pulling apart. they literally left us with minimal toilet paper and we had to go buy some. This is offensive! There was literally piles of garbage in different spots. it was hard to get ahold of the management. No timely responses. this is a beautiful home and a beautiful location that is not maintained properly.

Property needs lots of attention, things have been neglected, dead plants/weeds in planters outside, overgrown bushes/trees, dead rat lying next to trash can, no outdoor furniture for pool area, screens missing and torn up around hot tub enclosure, piles of old bottles and cans next to hot tub, cobwebs on lighting fixtures in kitchen over where your preparing food, hair found in kitchen cabinets, day bed was not sturdy, multiple lights not working, dishwasher not working properly (kept shutting off mid cycle).We enjoyed our time in Rodanthe but this home could use some TLC

This house had a great location (quiet and away from the bustle of Nags Head) while still being close to all the things you want in a beach destination. The pool was very nice and larger than expected. The house is just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay!

The house was outdated and had broken patio furniture. The screen on hot tub was broken and had been for some time. Missed match cushions were all over the pool area with no lounge chairs. We had to use the beach chair we brought with us. The stove light stayed on the whole time and the dishwasher did not work. Seems like if the owners would take a week or two of rental income and replace some of the broken and outdated items this place would have been much more enjoyable.

The area was nice and quiet but it was about 30 minute drive to get to a grocery store or main shops. I would go back to Rodanthe but not this house again. They need to take a week or two rental income and put it back into the house

Our stay was great after I spoke with maintenance who addressed some concerns. Management staff I encountered did not care to take the time to listen.

Perfect for our family but the handle broke off the refrigerator and no one ever came to fix it. The lid to the washing machine is filthy, and you have to slam the clothes dryer door to get the dryer to start.

Comfortable and relaxing, great location, private. Hot tub is wonderful and beds were just right! No fenced in area of the yard for the pups, but great street and beach access to walk them. Would stay again!

very nice house, very comfortable for nine of us/3 families. Lovely to have the beds already made upon arrival, and start up toiletries and kitchen items are very helpful to have.

Best vacation ever!

This house is in a much quieter location than Nags Head or Kitty Hawk, which appealed to our family. It is on a side street closest to Rt 12 so it was a long block's walk to the beach. However at this time there were no houses directly next to it on either side plus there were lovely views of the sound from the decks. The pool was a nice size and the cabana with the hot tub inside was a favorite hangout. We realize that the house is the cheap seats because of its distance from the beach. However the structure and fittings are not well maintained and the decor is from someone's great aunt in the 80's.

The area of the house was nice and secluded. Perfect size for 12 people and it was nice being able to bring your dog.
