Stayed Sep 2, 2023The location of the property was ideal, the quality was excellent, the owners (and son) where friendly and we couldn't fault anything. Highlights were FiFi, the kitchen (and its equipment - loved that teapot!!) - and what a fantastic shower!! 5 stars all round and very highly recommended.

Stayed Sep 3, 2022This was a comfortable property with everything needed for a very happy stay. Quiet and private, it was nevertheless well situated for those wishing to explore the Perigord Noir and further afield. And all essential services (food, fuel etc) were very close by. We much enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Jul 25, 2020This property holds 4 people but we were only 2 people. The gites was very big, clean and the owners were friendly. The location is in a quiet hamlet but centrally located to explore the dordogne. There is a spar, boulangerie and butchers 15 min walk away or 2 min drive. I would recommend this for a couple or family. It had all the facilities we needed eg washing machine, dishwasher, wifi.

Stayed Sep 15, 2018Gerard and Josette have clearly put some work into providing a clean and atmospheric country experience. We spent a lot of time sitting on the porch and sipping wine. The ambiance of this country farmhouse is wonderful. The kitchen is quite well equipped. Full size refrigerator. New oven and stove top. One of the few places we have ever stayed that had plenty of cleaning supplies available and lots of paper products. The lounge is very large and could probably use some brighter lights above the table. Besides that, we loved our stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed our week's stay in this Groléjac property. It was spacious and clean with a great kitchen, sitting area and a lovely bathroom with a lovely hot shower. The only short-comings were: no kettle- a necessity for English tea drinkers like us! And, it would have been useful to have a couple of tea towels. None were provided. Some instructions for switching on the T.V. would have been useful, too. My bedroom did smell a little musty, despite air fresheners having been placed in the room. Apart from these few small grumbles, the gite was very good value for money and in a great location for visiting nearby chateaux, plus beaux villages and grottes.
