3 Min Walk to Beach! Serene Retreat w/ Heatable Private Pool, Ping Pong Table, Multiple Decks & Dens

This house is beautiful! Spaces are so well thought out. We had 4 college girls with their mamas and it was perfect - all the girls stayed together in the bunk room and the mamas had a private bedroom all to ourselves. So many outside areas to sit and have your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. I love that the kitchen had plenty of seating for all of us. We already discussed making this an annual trip and staying here again!

We had the best time when we stayed here! There is lots of room, lots to do, and plenty of decks/porches.

Beautiful home that easily fit 9 family members to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday with room to spare. You can walk a block and a half to the gorgeous IOP beach. Close to a Harris Teeter and little restaurants and cafe’s. We were only bummed that the pool was really didn’t when we arrived. Reached out to management and they promptly responded that the pool gets dirty due to wind and storms and that a pool cleaner comes every Friday. They didn’t come until Saturday afternoon and we checked out the next day so couldn’t use. That is my only complaint! Otherwise an awesome stay.

We rented this lovely home for our son's wedding I weekend. It was definitely a comfortable stay! The beds were great. There was extra bedding and pillows. The pantry had all the pans and serving platters, small appliances, and bakeware you would need,which was extra appreciated since I was prepping food and baking a lot for wedding stuff. It was not warm enough to make use of the pool since we didn't want to pay for having it heated but it didn't stop some of our kids from taking a dip. All in all we were pleased with this house and accomodations and made lots of fun memories!

We were there for three weeks and had a marvelous time. The house was great. Because of the time of year we didn’t use the outdoor spaces. The kitchen was fabulous and very well organized. The living spaces were perfect for our needs. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, comfortable and private. We would definitely consider this property again if we were to revisit the area.

There are a couple of items needing immesdiate attention. The gas stove smell, the garage door as the key pad is used to enter the house from the garage and then overall painting and repairs where it looks like some water damage.

The house was very nice, clean, and as advertised. The arrival access could have been a little smoother, but the host was very attentive. An easy walk to the beach. Overall a very pleasant stay for our family at Thanksgiving.

Everything was great. The layout was very accessible. We had a great time.

Good communications, the unit was very clean and well maintained.

House was absolutely beautiful & very clean. Host left us a welcome gift along with a handwritten card. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fabulous time at Deja Bleu with our family get together . The house was perfect for our large family kids/grandkids and the weather cooperated wonderfully! We cooked in most nights and enjoyed all of the porches . We rented bikes, rode around the island and went to the nearby rec center playground / PB courts /exercise classes every day. Perfect for the grandkids ! Couldn't have asked for anything more . We will definitely be back!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this location! Beautiful home, lovely rooms to relax! Loved the porches, the serenity of the backyard and pool! We also appreciated that any questions we had were answered immediately with the owner and the manager!

We had a great stay at Deja Blue in IOP over Labor Day week! The house was in the perfect location, just a block away from the beach. Any questions or concerns we had were promptly answered by Steven. We would definitely stay in this beautiful home again!

This was a great experience! The photos were exactly what the place looked like! Kitchen & Bar area were fully stocked with all the necessary tools to cook and serve for the weekend. Super clean!

We absolutely loved the déjà blue house. It exceeded all of our expectations. It was close enough to the ocean to be able to walk there easily, and the pool was so wonderful to have after beach time. Our children loved the floats for the pool! The house was roomy and spacey and comfortable for 11 people of all different ages. Our family would highly recommend this.

We had the most wonderful time. House was perfect for our family of 8. Thank you for letting us stay there. Close to everything - beach and stores. Will definitely try to come back next year.

This was our third year in a row to create wonderful beach memories! The home is beautifully appointed to cook or barbecue, play games or relax by the pool. The beach is just a very short block away. All in all a magical place to visit.

We had a group of girls from all over get together here for a long weekend. It was perfect! The house was beautiful, the pool was clean and ready for use, such an easy walk to the beach and it was so easy to get to and from restaurants and bars! We all loved this house!

Overall the house was great and we would stay here again! The location was amazing (very short walk to beach) and the floor plan of the house was very conducive for our extended family to each have their own space and plenty of common areas. The rooms are larger than the photos lead on! A few things could’ve made our stay even better - mostly the pool took an entire day to heat to temp and was over chlorinated but cloudy during our stay. And less important, but we quickly ran out of house provided supplies (soap, shampoo, dishwasher tabs etc).

Deja Blue was the perfect beach house for our friend trip for both kids and adults. The walk to the beach was short and easy (right by beach access 31). The location was quiet with a mix of rentals and locals which I think helped with the noise. Being off the main drag of IOP was nice and allowed us to have the kids play outside without fear of cars. The home accommodations were accurate and welll stocked. I certainly recommend!

We loved our week here - plenty of room so we could spread out. Kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of pots & pans. House was very clean. The property managers were so prompt in getting back with us. We would absolutely stay here again.

Family wedding great time. Disappointed the pool wasn’t heated as the weather was cold. Never used the pool. In the future it would be helpful to display the cost of heating pool. I realize now what heatable means. The house was perfect for our family.

My group of girls enjoyed this property despite being there during Hurricane Helene. The power went out but was back within 12 hours. The amenities were great and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Definitely would return for another trip!
