Stayed Feb 13, 2026Beautiful historic home. Lots of nice touches. Host was kind, helpful, and responded quickly. Good off-street parking next to house. Plenty of pots, pans, condiments and spices for those who plan to eat in. Very close to the airport; only about seven minutes. Overall a great experience.

Stayed Jan 23, 2026House is a stunning, eclectic, historical gem. It housed our tribe of seven, which includes five teens, easily, and was so much fun to stay in. We appreciated every detail, and there were so many to appreciate. From the worldly and colorful decor, to the custom tiling, the original door frames and more. The host was incredibly pleasant to communicate with, proactive and warm. The touches like water filters and cups in every bedroom were greatly appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed May 5, 2025We were initially hesitant upon our arrival but any concerns quickly evaporated. Our host was great and very responsive. This place was SO well stocked with most anything you could need! It even had a Traeger pellet grill!! We appreciated the space available for our family and everyone had a super comfy bed! Not only that but king sized beds!! We enjoyed our stay and were very pleased.

Stayed Nov 17, 2024This historic home is renovated and has definite artistic flair all throughout the house, with modern comfort (like a/c units) throughout. If you are like me and absolutely love imagining being in the past, with original wood floors and doors (I think?) but still having 21st century plumbing, this home is a delight. Clearly someone with a fun artsy vibe has also added colorful tiles in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom, which was great. Another part of our group stayed in a more modern, typical luxury home, but I was ecstatic to stay in this one instead. Every corner of the house has thoughtful, intriguing decor and feels like a window into Birmingham's old Southern charms.
