We invite you to enjoy our home away from home in central Florida. Our 3 bedroom (plus office) 2 bath home in North Lakeland is only 40 minutes from Disney and about 30 minutes from Tampa. We are close enough to enjoy all the fun things to do in central Florida but out of the traffic and chaos of the larger cities.

Stayed May 16, 2026Check-in - didn't have code in, was resolved quickly - but had the host been unavailable it could have been hours (movie/dinner/sleeping whatever length of time with us stuck outside)Cleanliness - at least a few dishes in cabinets not clean, once we found those we just didn't use any more.AC issues - starting going out on day three, blamed myself over thermostat until day six when the vents weren't blowing any air at all. Sent host a pic of inside temps of 85, humidity was also gross. Not repaired for the duration of our stay. Lots of water stains/damage in garage next to AC unit - so not a new issue I don't think.Really that was the end of enjoying the home, once it doesn't go below 80 with high humidity, no fun to be there. Sleeping was rough. Shower and sweat before you can towel dry. Very dog friendly, no dog mess smells. Looked like pics/description.Neighbors warned us about rats coming over from a house going through foreclosure. Hopefully a short term issue, but rats/diseases that dogs can get from the yard wasn't exciting either.

Stayed Dec 22, 2024Nice layout and comfortable home. Host was responsive. Took a few days to resolve an issue with WiFi and a few other amenities need repair, but overall a very nice stay and we would book again.

Stayed May 24, 2024Place not as clean as stated. Low in supplies such as detergent toilet tissue. Rusty washer dryer. Found 4 roaches in the house. Dish washer left dishes dirty. Dishwasher pods were hard as rock. Greasy microwave filter House dated. Other rentals in area were updated for the same price.

Stayed Jul 2, 2023We stayed at this home for two weeks. Great quiet neighborhood and a great location for anything you would need. The property owner is very accommodating and promptly answers all calls and texts. The home was a perfect place to stay. We enjoyed the stay.

Stayed May 23, 2023The house had everything we needed and more. It was so nice to have a nice selection of spices available, dishes, etc. in the kitchen. The house was clean and well maintained. Close to everything we needed. Could not have asked for anything more.

Stayed Dec 23, 2022We have rented this house for several years over the holidays. It is so nice to have our own home while there visiting our daughter, son-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters. Although we spent a lot of time at their house, it was so fun for us to be able to have Christmas Eve at our house! We also got to have a sleepover with the girls one night. Such a treat for grandparents who live in Ohio! The owner is amazing and SO helpful. We needed a slight date adjustment and she helped us out without any issues. Also, unfortunately I had to visit the E.R. during my stay, but Lakeland Regional is right around the corner.
