3 Bedroom Ocean View Condo in downtown +pool +wifi

We stayed at this incredible rental over the Christmas break ending with a mind-blowing fireworks show from the rooftop at New Year's. It is exactly what you see in the pictures, and more. The location was 'very Mexico' with cobblestone streets and the sites and sounds of daily life, people and whale watching from the patio, tons of restaurants and street food stands nearby, the local mercado a quick 10 minute walk away, and the hustle and bustle of the Malecon close by. We did a ton of walking, took an ATV tour with a company 5 mins away, spent a ton of time in the heated pool, and enjoyed quality time as a family in this picture perfect rental. I couldn't have picked a better place for a much needed family vacation and I am so grateful for all of Monica's help and suggestions and the ease in which the whole move in and move out was facilitated. Thanks a million from Canada!!!

Loved our stay in PV. This rental is airy, spacious and really comfortable. The best part is sitting on the deck taking in the spectacular sunsets. Pool is nice for a late night cool down. Rental is situated in the 5 de Deciembre neighborhood, about a 15 min walk from the Malecón and a 5 min walk to Camarones beach. Walk home is steep but was doable for our family. Streets and sidewalks are pretty funky so play close attention when walking nearby. Dora, Ileana and Paty were very accommodating and helpful. We really appreciated their flexibility especially when our flight home was cancelled. The neighborhood is a bit of a walk to downtown (30 min) but we liked being slightly out of the noisy center. Plenty of restaurants nearby, Ubers were easy to order. Great trip was had with our two older teens with highlights including a top notch whale watching trip through Ocean Friendly Tours (Oscar is your guy!), Botanical Gardens and a boat taxi (from Boxa de Tomatlán) to a small town called Quimixto.

Private close to everything, the place was stellar and the owners are the type of people you would invite to come visit you. Just can say enough positive s about the place or the landlords. My only regret is not staying longer. I want to give them an amazing review but I don’t want anyone staying there on next trip lol!

The overall property was very clean and so beautiful. The views were stunning!!! The check in process was extremely simple and it was easy to get in contact with the owner.

Our family had a great time at this house. My husband and I work remotely so we spent 8 days in PV to enjoy the weather so we would work till about noon and then vacation the rest of the day. Internet was great for working and zoom meetings. Bedrooms were large, dining area nice and kitchen had everything we needed. I enjoyed sitting out next to the pool. Would have been nice to have some lounge chairs. I used a towel and placed it on the concrete. Not the most comfortable. Pool was beautiful but was too cold. If it had been warmer weather, I'm sure it would have been fine but the weather was only 75-80 so not warm enough to take a plunge. We walked or took Uber everywhere. There are some very nice restaurants with great views nearby (Ah Carumba, Azul Celeste and Meno's Place). If you want street taco's, just walk down the hill and you'll have your share of taco stands to pick from. There's also a gym right down the hill, Simmons Gym. I got the week visitor pass for $21 US. There are a lot of comments about the dogs and roosters. The noise didn't bother us sleeping, but they supply ear plugs at the house if you are a light sleeper. The biggest thing is probably the hill. It is very steep. I used it as part of my morning workout routine but if I had my 70 year old parents, there is no way they would have been able to manage that hill (unless they are in really good shape). Work around is you can always get an Uber which is really cheap in PV. Overall, we had a great time at this house and would definately be back again.

We stayed a couple of weeks and very much appreciated the space, views, plunge pool and how well the kitchen is outfitted for cooking etc. It’s is located up in the hills and so you need to be able to negotiate a bit of steep walk up and down for a couple short blocks. Met many of the neighbors and they are very pleasant and helpful. Only downside during our stay was the amount of construction noise and traffic in the area. It’s quiet in the morning until about 8:30 am when the related traffic and 4 building construction projects in the nearby 3-4 blocks begin. Nice and quiet again after 5 pm. It’s all concrete buildings so you can here a lot of that related noise. Not sure how many months more that will continue but it seemed almost everywhere, there was something being constructed so likely hard to escape in that part of town.

Great property. Great view and pool. Had all what we needed and very clean. Watched the sunset almost every night from the pool area and it was spectacular. The walk up the hills and the stairs was a good workout, however. The pool was refreshing but also would have been nice to have some lounge chairs by the pool for tanning. That would have made it more “resort-ish”. Only downside, and no fault of the property, was the large gravel trucks working in front and the constant noise during the day. It was hard to have a conversation outside, but I’m sure they won’t be there forever. Would recommend the place.

Beautiful views

Great communication and very easy check in! Had everything it needed! The hosts were very nice and easy to deal with. Hill was a bit steep to get up to the building but we were all about to manage!

My husband, along with my siblings and their wives vacationed at Casa Dylan for 10 days and cannot say enough good things about our time there! All communication with Ileana was prompt and and the few issues we had (out of Ileana's control) were dealt with and fixed almost immediately. The condo was clean, and had everything to make our stay delightful....from the three bedrooms/bathrooms to the fully supplied kitchen and even the outdoor living space! Plenty of room....and everything we needed. Paty greeted us upon arrival and answered any questions we had. They had left a large bag of ice, a bottle of wine and some snacks to greet us! What a nice surprise! The hike up the hill is a bit of a challenge, however, the view from the veranda is SPECTACULAR! Several times throughout our stay we sat poolside and watched whales (and whale calves) swim and breech and in the bay. Incredible! Easy walk to local Marcado del Mar for fresh produce/seafood. Easy walk to Malecon (boardwalk). Easy walk down to beach. It is simply a great location for a variety of activities. My family cannot say enough wonderful things about the condo, the location, the communication and the overall accommodations from Ileana and Paty Thank you for making our stay in PV so relaxing and fun. We hope to be back again some day!
