We have been staying at Seas the Day for an annual family trip for several years now. Our stay this year was as lovely as ever. The recent renovation came out beautifully and offers so many comfortable amenities. The location is wonderful and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. We’d highly recommend to all!

Perfect for our 1st visit to Galveston!

Great house for our family, 2 adults and 4 kids. Renovations are great, communication with owner was easy. Love the master bath and the upper balcony at sunset. Easy walk to the beach, about 7 houses away. Stores and good pizza delivery across the highway made it easy to get stuff. My only suggestion for the house is to add a soundbar and sub for the living room TV. The beds were hard, just add mattress toppers on the beds and you’re good to go.

I am so picky when it comes to booking houses or hotel rooms. I only look at 10/10, but sometimes my idea of cleanliness is not the same as other people. Well, let me say— this house was true to form. It has been recently renovated and it was done so well, and the house was soooo clean. We were basically rained out this trip, and this house was probably the best place to have to hang out during the rain. The mattresses are all top quality, even in the bunk room. Everyone said they had good sleep experiences. The bathrooms were updated and very clean. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need, updated appliances, and the island and kitchen table gave plenty of space for indoor dining. The living room has all new furniture, and there was plenty of seating for all of us. The picture windows in the main living areas were a great place to sit and watch the rain (so much rain this trip). The top level deck is a great place to sit and watch the ocean early in the morning or later in the evening. They have plenty of beach toys and chairs to use at the beach, and walking distance is super quick and easy. This next item won’t dock points in my review at all, but if your family is full of heavy coffee drinkers, bring your own coffee maker- they just have a single-serve Keurig. This house has by far been my best VRBO rental and I will look for it again for future Galveston trips!

We discovered Seas the Day several years ago, and have enjoyed an annual beach stay ever since. The location, house, and hosts are always a pleasure, and we were thrilled this year to find that a wonderful remodel had transformed the charming beach cottage into a more spacious, updated setting, still big on charm but now including amenities such as a master suite with awesome walk-in shower, a bunk room with super-sturdy built in bunks, and a great modern kitchen with huge island. The views are great, the walk to the beach is quick and easy, the section of beach is lovely, the ice cream truck passes every afternoon, and there are several convenient shops and a great pizza place at the front of the neighborhood. It is such a great setting for our kids to build some amazing beach memories, we very highly recommend.
