Stayed Feb 22, 2026Loved that it was private & roomy. Updated & pictures were accurate. Great back yard on a canal. Some minor issues during our stay, were quickly resolved by the owner. Would have given 4 1/2 stars if I could.

Stayed Jan 27, 2026This house had everything we needed for our two week stay. Host was more than accomodating and hospitable. Cleanest home we have ever stayed in, comparing to our last 6 visits to Lake Placid. Very peaceful, and the back yard makes you feel at home. Beds are very comfortable, and the house is close to everything you need for gas, groceries, or local shopping. The host has done a very good job on this rental for our visit to Lake Placid. We had a very good stay at this home. Most definitely would come back to this host, and home. Thankful for this host and his efforts to accommodate our stay.

Stayed Jan 20, 2026Great communication with the host before and during our visit. We enjoyed our coffee on the swing while viewing the canal out back. The girls loved the hammock and running around the spacious back yard. We didn't get to use the fire pit this trip, but it was a very nice setup with firewood provided. Very relaxing and pleasant home, would definitely recommend this for your trip to lake placid.
