Description:
As the Mother Goose poem states “And they all lived together in a little crooked house.” Pops Place is that little crooked house that sits on a fish filled pond. This is truly a house of character, as it was once a tobacco barn that was located in the middle of where the pond is now. The large windows on both levels were once French doors and the history of the house goes on from there as each piece was put together by the owner’s father (Pops).
The house sits above a pond filled with trout for you to fish and a dock. There is also a hiking trail right next to the property. Pops Place also has an open deck to enjoy the evening cool air. Peace, quiet, and privacy as there is only one neighbor across the pond (They share the pond).
This is truly a house that has a lot to offer a family for a summer vacation.

I couldn't have asked for a better place! Isaac was wonderful. He made sure to check in on us to make sure everything was going well and took care of anything we asked.
The pond was awesome, the view was scenic, the cabin was quaint. All around exactly what we were hoping for and loads to do in the area including: mountain biking, hiking, fishing, Biltmoring, climbing, eating yummy food, drinking good brews and ending with ice cream!
What a beautiful piece of property to relax and unwind! The scenery was breathtaking and the home was so cozy and comfy! There are great eateries around, so there was plenty to do, see, and taste. However, our favorite part was just to sit and unwind at this beautiful location. Thank you for having us!
The description of the property was accurate. It is a unique, quirky cabin in a picturesque location. We chose this cabin because of the location and it was ideal for that - close to all kinds of hiking, and to Brevard and Hendersonville for eating and shopping. We went at a premium time and paid a premium price. We had some frustrations while there including no DVR as advertised (which the property management remedied the next day), no hair dryer as advertised (also remedied when DVR brought), poor lighting for reading and finding things in the kitchen (including the need to replace several burned out bulbs) and a very disorganized although decently equipped kitchen. The place was clean enough but it needed a “spring cleaning” to get rid of cobwebs and dust on less used areas. In addition we had a mouse siting (never saw droppings) and they responded the next day with a sticky trap. On the plus side we had immediate coommmunication with the property manager via texts and phone calls and they were very pleasant and helpful.
The stay was the best. My children absolutely loved this place. They stayed off video games. They fished, rode in the paddle boat, and just enjoyed themselves. Perfect spot and I love this place. Thank you for an amazing stay!
We enjoyed our stay. The place was unique and interesting, and conveniently located to the locations we wanted to visit. The grill came in handy and we used it multiple times. If there are certain items you want or need for cooking in the kitchen, then I would bring those things with you. Everything was perfectly fine for us, but I'd say it's more like camping than staying in a condo that has all the bells and whistles.
