Stayed Jul 13, 2025This was our first trip to SSI and my first time using VRBO. The ease of communication with Real Escapes Properties was amazing....the only thing that surpassed it was the rental we were in. It was convenient to everywhere, clean, and more than we expected. The in ground pool was a pleasant surprise and absolutely just added to the trip. We are already planning our next visit.

Stayed Apr 25, 2024This little house was just perfect for a girls weekend to the island! The location is great, the home sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.. We enjoyed riding our bikes to breakfast each morning from the home and the beach was just a short 3 minute drive by car. It is obvious the owners have put a lot of time and effort into the home. however, the beds were just horrible! As much as we enjoyed the home, we would not return without assurance that the mattresses on all beds had been replaced.

We are very familier with the island and visit a few times a year. This was the first year using Real Escapes. It was a seamless process. The cottage was located on a dead end quiet street. Neighbors were friendly. The cottage was extra clean and beautifully decorated. Location was great, the girls could walk to East Beach. I was just extremely happy we found a place that allowed our dog to come along. We will definitely book again.
