    It was better than staying at a hotel family could also come over and see us and our dogs had a backyard… needs some sod but not bad considering they were in a drought. The beds comfortable. Needs a few more wash clothes and maybe another chair in the living room to sit. Everything is white so we watched our kids like hawks. The showers were great! Communication was also amazing!

    The house is in a well established neighborhood with mature trees. It was quiet and peaceful both nights of our stay. It’s a great location to everything in west Wichita. (Just minutes from Sedgwick county park and the zoo, as well as shopping and restaurants). We appreciated having use of the garage. The beds were comfy and the sheets were soft. Nicely updated kitchen.

    Upon our arrival we were immediately disappointed with the front yard as there was more dirt/mud than grass. This was compounded once we went to check the fenced in backyard so we could let our dog out and it was even worse. We ended up having to walk our dog around the neighborhood and let him go to the restroom in other peoples yards and then cleaned it up. The next issue was the kitchen. When we got there, there were ants EVERYWHERE. We immediately began cleaning the kitchen but all we had was some dish soap and an almost empty bottle of kitchen cleaner. If you know ants, you know you will not be able to fully get rid of them with these two items. Especially because they were on the countertops, in the cabinets, in the toaster, coffee maker, floor, etc. This was extremely disappointing to find as we needed to use the kitchen to sanitize feeding utensils for our infant child and we couldn't do so. We also moved our dogs food and water bowls across the house with the hope bugs wouldn't get into it but that wasn't the case either. We also killed multiple half dollar size spiders in the bedrooms which then made us worry about someone being bit. We immediately let the property owner know and they dropped off a bottle of Spic and Span and scheduled pest control to come once we left. It was bad enough where we left the property within 24 hours of our 3 day stay. If you do book, bring your own towels, light bulbs and air freshener to. This place needs a serious deep clean.

    This rental met our basic needs. The good news was that it was really clean inside, great water pressure for the shower, & a safe neighborhood. Disappointment was the lack of curb appeal. The backyard and front yards were neglected. Mostly dirt, leaves, & weeds. With beautiful spring weather, we wanted to sit outside and enjoy. Yet, the outdoor space is woefully lacking. Overall, the property was ok. It felt like the property mgmt company only did the basic necessities with little attention to details. There was one washcloth for 4 people, garage was filthy, leaves not raked, cheap pillows, ants in the bathrooms, & thin sheets. I’m just being honest for future renters to be informed. Most importantly, it was clean inside. But with a 195 cleaning fee, it should be. Best wishes!

    Upon opening the front door, the smell of cat urine hits you and stays with you throughout the entire house. The house and the neighborhood were perfect for our group if there wouldn’t have been that smell permeating the entire property. We contacted the host and they did reply to our messages but never in our conversation back-and-forth did they offer to do anything to fix the situation. They simply apologized with no offer to solve the situation in any way. We would not stay at this property again and we will make sure the next property we book in Wichita is not managed by Reliance Property Managament.

    If looking for a place to sleep while visiting Wichita this is a very nice clean house. It could have used a few more towels/wash cloths, newer coffee maker that didn’t splash and outdoor seating to enjoy the wonderful weather we had while visiting. Although there were a couple of issues during our stay we contacted the owner and they were promptly resolved. I would recommend this property to someone else
