3 bed 2 bath Beach cottage 1750 sq ft with gardens 15 minute walk to the beach

Unfortunately this house was tired. Everything from the furniture to the smelly old carpets. It smelled of cat urine and even the towels provided had long seen better days.

Did not realize house was primary residence but overall good stay

This was a great place and location to stay for my elderly mother, an infant, my dog, and 2 other family members. It felt like a family retreat and the home is so welcoming and cozy. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants, close to beach, and palos verdes trees!Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My family and I couldn't have dreamed up a more lovely place to stay for our vacation. The kitchen, all of the bedrooms, dining area and front garden, are just stunning. Lance is quite the accommodating host and communicating with him was effortless. I would book this home again in an instant. I could not be more happy or satisfied with our experience at The Chateau.

This property worked well for our three-night stay -- Grandma and Grandpa in the master bedroom, with relatively large private bath (lots of counter space); adult daughter, her husband, and twin 4-year-old boys in the other two bedrooms with their own bath, albeit small. A rope swing and soccer ball in the front yard provided a mini-playground for the boys, and the living room and kitchen provided indoor room to roam. We did no cooking, so can't comment on the kitchen amenities. Lots of interesting books to thumb through. Handy Torrance location, just off of Pacific Coast Highway.

This place is lovely from the outside and cozy on the inside. Just a walk from the Hollywood Riviera where Starbuck’s, Trader Joe’s and restaurants are available. The beach is just a little bit farther. Wonderful to stay at a place so close to my childhood stomping grounds.

The property was convenient for our needs. Guest was east to communicate with. The mini coffee pot needs to be replaced with something more fitting of house sleeping 6.

Cute house with a great location. Was warm and stuffy when I arrived, but opened the windows and ran the fans to get comfortable. Great kitchen and outdoor space. House had everything I needed and a quick walk to Redondo.

The house is near the beach and all conveniences yet feels quiet and peaceful. Lance was wonderfully helpful and accommodating. We felt very welcomed into his home and enjoyed our stay.

We used this house to accommodate a stay with extended family for a wedding. It worked out just great. Lance was easy to contact and our stay was enjoyable.

If you want a charming home that is welcoming this is a great place! Best location for our itinerary. Went for my son’s graduation at USC, family came in from NYC and have never been to CA. We were able to drive one day down the southern coast, the next day the northern coast and sight see. Had a gathering of 10 ppl for a graduation dinner, the kitchen was a dream to cook in. Loved how we could sit at the huge dining table and still converse with ppl in the family room. The neighborhood is adorable and quaint. Did not hear one neighbor. We felt like we were staying at a family members house, a home with character and comfort.
