Stayed Oct 26, 2025This is our second time staying at the Owl’s Nest. It is such a comfortable and peaceful place to stay but also close to everything that Greensboro has to offer. We love staying here while visiting family. The view of the horses in the fields is an added bonus!

Stayed Aug 28, 2025This is a lovely, peaceful property with fantastic hosts. It's close enough to the highway to make it easy to get to several cities and the airport, but far enough away that it feels like you're way out in the countryside. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the fireflies. Would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed Jun 23, 2025It was what we were looking for! Quite secluded with no interpretation. We had one little hiccup which they took care of immediately. Above and beyond the call of duty. You would do well to chose this getaway Jerral

Stayed Jun 20, 2025We stayed at The Owl's Nest in late June for a weekend. My sons were competing in a WNL competition in the Greensboro complex. We just don't fit well in a hotel room - the kids are too big to share a double bed and my husband and I definitely can't. The Owl's Nest had a king and two twins plus a living room to spread out in. Instead of getting 2 hotel rooms, we stayed here, gave our money to real people and were much more comfortable. We weren't there at all during the day, so can't help with that, but the location was near the interstate, which made for easy travel to the complex. Super clean and quiet!

Stayed Jun 5, 2025Gwen and Dale, Two of the sweetest people on earth! Their cottage was so cozy. We didn't get to spend as much time there as we would have liked, but what time we did spend there was peaceful. We recommend you also opt for the interaction with the horses. Gwen is very knowledgeable. It was a very enjoyable visit! We will definitely book with The Owl's Nest again!

Stayed May 15, 2025This was a beautiful, clean, quiet property. The kids loved being able to go out and watch the horses in the mornings and evenings. Everything was comfortable and clean, and there were thoughtful extra touches throughout the property. We will definitely be back if we are in Greensboro again!

Stayed Jan 3, 2025We are moving to the area and needed a place to stay where our daughter could have her own room. The Owl's Nest was exceptionally clean. We were in a great location and a short drive from all the areas we were looking at. The Hosts were spectacular. It was a colder time of year, and they ensured we kept warm. We used their Pack N play, and it was great that they offered this as an option. All parents know lugging a Travel Crib through the airport is no fun. They even went out of their way to get a thicker mattress so our little one would sleep better. We cannot recommend this place enough!!

Stayed Oct 26, 2024Dale and Gwyn’s place was very clean and comfortable. It was a lot of fun watching the horses in the fields surrounding the house. It is so peaceful that you don’t even realize that you are so close to Greensboro and many amenities. We hope to return when visiting family in Greensboro.

Stayed Aug 15, 2024Check in was easy. Owners were super easy to work with. Horses were visible through almost every window in the place at some point in the day or another. We ate on the back deck a couple times and the horses were just a dozen feet away. The kids, wife and I all really enjoyed ourselves. Feels very secluded yet you’re not far from Greensboro proper and the Interstate.

Stayed May 31, 2024The property was absolutely stunning. I was looking for a place that felt a little bit rustic, cozy, and peaceful and this was absolutely the perfect place. So close to everything and convenient to Greensboro, but tucked away from it all. The horses walking right outside the windows were spectacular to watch. For me having the host on the property was perfect and the house itself was super comfortable and stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

Stayed May 22, 2024We recently stayed at this home while celebrating our daughter's graduation from Elon. It was about a 20-minute drive to campus. The house was clean, the beds comfortable and we could enjoy watching the horses in the mornings and evenings.
