Other things to note:

This home has been split into 2 units. This 2bdrm rental is on the west side. There is completely separate 4bdrm rental on the east side that is also available.
PESTS - The house is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, bugs are a part of life here in the southwest. While we make every effort to keep it spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug. The village of Los Ranchos is an independent community within the city of Albuquerque situated close to the river providing the area greenery and trees, an oasis in the desert. Close to the home are some of Albuquerque’s most well known New Mexican restaurants such as, Sadies, Casa de Benevidas & El Bruno’s. We were only in town one night on our fall break as we saw a lot of other sites in NM. We wanted to experience the Balloon Fiesta and these was a great location that was very close and reasonably priced compared to many other options. They even had balloon cookies for us upon arrival. We had had a late lunch so it was a perfect snack before an early bedtime so we could be up to see the balloons.
Very clean, easy accessibility to everything we needed to get to (especially the south entrance to the Balloon Fiesta), even received a gift upon arrival. It was perfect for our visit to Albuquerque.
We were only in the area for three nights for a wedding, so we didn't spend a lot of time at this VRBO. Host communication was proactive. Home was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location. Great restaurants nearby. Although along a busy road, heard no car noise from inside the home. Overall, a great stay. Would definitely stay again!
Very clean, very safe and very comfortable. Los Ranchos was conveniently located for everywhere I wanted to go.
I would love to stay there for a long time but I couldn't. I wish you all the best
I was in town for a training with my Search and Rescue dog. The location was perfect and the big, fenced yard was a huge plus. I was comfortable in the house and it had everything I needed. The owner was very easy to communicate with when I had questions. I will stay again when I come back!
This property was clean and basic. The location was fine - basically 15-20 minutes from everything we did. And the owner responded promptly throughout. Here’s what would have made it a 5-star rating in our opinion: newer towels that weren’t so thin and rough, floor covering of some sort (the floors were cold and chipped) bathroom vanity lights to function, better stocked kitchen for meal prep, better silverware for eating (it was like play silverware). Overall, it was fine for the week.
Great location. Everything good
I was unsure how far this would be from the University (UNM) but it worked out great. Everything you need including a coffee pot! Well-established New Mexico neighborhood. I liked the personal touches of the owner. Thank you.
Nice place, had everything, including coffee! Great yard for the dog. Enjoyed a 2 night stay.
Had a few issues during our stay. We chose this property for one reason as it lists its dog friendly, 1 dog up to 50lbs. The listing does not state there is an extra fee, but the owner forced us to pay $50 extra after the reservation was made. There are strict rules to ensure you clean up after yourself and the dog, yet we found dog poop in the yard and almost stepped in it. The owner did offer to come clean it but that’s pointless at that time. Another major issue is the house had rodents of some sort running around in the ceiling and walls. They could be heard all night long. Every neighbor has large dogs kept outside In the ir front yards. It’s impossible to walk your dog without making a huge scene as all the dogs in the neighborhood bark. They also all bark Late into the night and could be heard while laying in bed.
