2bd 2bath, Bourbon Trail Cottage Fenced Yard

We enjoyed our stay in Frankfort.

Property was very clean! The host was easy to communicate with and checked in with us each day of our stay, as well as prior to the trip. There is plenty of parking, and the property was great for what we wanted it for during our bourbon trail trip. For anyone with mobility issues, the kitchen being downstairs may be a problem, but it didn't impact us at all. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, etc., and having the coffee with sweetener stocked as well was a bonus! We also appreciated the washer/dryer on-site, as we were stopping over in the middle of a four-week trip. The property was within a five minute drive of several restaurants in the downtown Frankfort area - so convenient!

The house was very clean. It is an older home. It’s my own fault, but I did not realize how difficult those stairs were going to be, it’s definitely not a place to stay if you have bad knees or hips! There should be a mini fridge upstairs so you don’t have to run downstairs. Overall, we had a very wonderful time. We sat out in the backyard a lot.

Perfect for two couples. The two porches were wonderful after a busy day. The kitchen had several pots and pans to choose from. Adequate AC for the whole house and the bourbon decor was delightful. Good location.

There are wonderful outdoor spaces and appreciated the ease of entry. There was plenty of coffee and toiletries the kitchen was well appointed. Good central location.

We had an excellent stay! Clean. Great space for our family (2 kids and 2 dogs). We enjoyed being able to walk to the Capitol and the local bakery. Very close to Buffalo Trace.

Air conditioner would not work but a maintenance person was sent immediately and problem solved. Neat place. Enjoyed the time there. Beds very comfortable.

We really enjoyed this place!!! It’s very clean and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. It is centrally located (walking distance ) to restaurants, shops, and distilleries. The neighborhood is also very good. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch day and night. We will stay here again if we return to Frankfort. We definitely recommend this vacation rental.

It's an old house, the kitchen is dark and downstairs. The stairs are very narrow. The house if very musty smelling, air fresheners try to overwhelm the house but you can still tell. As soon as you walk in the house you feel the tilted house. You can't tell from the outside but when you walk inside you can really feel it. The house had bare amenities. No extra towels in the bathroom, kitchen, not a full roll of paper towels, etc. For the price I paid it really wasn't worth it. I noticed when I booked the house the host responded quickly, but I had to pay an extra fee for checking in a couple hours early. When I would reach out later, the host wasn't responsive. Only responsive when she had to. The pictures are better than actually being there. The house next door is not in the greatest shape and the house behind it has been torn down. So if you have small kids, I don't recommend walking around the house because there is a drop with no fence or barricade. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Hot water was very limited and there was 4 of us. We had to take short showers and they were within a 2 hour window.

House was perfect for our needs. Close to all the activities we had planned to do. Very clean and great parking. Our hist was very quick to answer any questions we had.

Street parking, and it took awhile for us to figure out the door probably case we don’t frequent VRBOs but overall a cozy house, loved the theme and it was perfect distance from my brothers wedding venue!

Cute older house that is convenient to the bourbon trail. The house is clean and well stocked for visitors.parking is readily available on the street in front of the house.

Awkward layout with kitchen down ricketty stairs. Tasteful nice decor, but lots of nicked walls, holes in walls, flaking paint and bubbling wallpaper. Lawn was not mowed and quite long. Mosquitos attacked as soon as dog went into long grass. Skunk ran out of grass once, freaked us out. It must have come from vacant overgrown lot next door and hole in fence. It was hard to see with overgrown grass until it ran away. Charcoal grill hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long, and no charcoal provided.

Our 2 night stay was very comfortable. The cottage was exceptionally clean & we loved the decor. We were able to walk into Frankfort.

This house is nice, very clean and comfortable. The host communicated extremely well. It is in a great location and worked awesome for our two couples spending the weekend enjoying some of the Bourbon trail. We would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The house is so cute! Very beautifully decorated and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect if you are looking to explore Frankfort. We were able to walk to downtown from this location. I would warn those that may not be able to do stairs, that you do need to go downstairs to have access to the kitchen and second bedroom. But the main floor you walk in on has a bathroom, bedroom and living room space. We definitely would use this cottage again for future visits if available!

This little house was perfect for my friends and I this week! The host was super responsive to all my questions and needs. Close to downtown and the bourbon trails. Really enjoyed our time!

Dont be turned off by location or outside appearance. Inside decore is really nice. AC a little tough to figure out but works to make ot comfortable in summer. Upstairs shower loses hot water after one shower but downstairs is fine. Really centralized location for exploring the Frankfort/Lawrenceburg area.

Less than 10 minute drive to Buffalo Trace distillery! Backyard was great for our dog, and plenty of places to walk to for dinner and coffee!

Great location. Close to distilleries, state capitol, museums etc. Nice neighborhood. Great for walking the dog. Also not far from Lexington and Louisville. Made a trip to Churchill Downs. Highly recommend it! Very clean.

This property was clean and spacious. Comfortable furniture. The bedding and bathroom towels were high quality. The kitchen had everything we needed. Coffee machine (pot & kcup), coffee kcups, coffee syrups and a variety of sweeteners were provided. The location was a 15 minute walk to downtown Frankfort. I would stay there again.

This adorable house is located just a few blocks from the capital building. My husband and I enjoyed walking there area. Just a short drive to a lot of distilleries and wineries. There house was clean and decorated wonderfully.

The house is quaint and a bit old fashioned (in a good way, evoking warm memories from our childhood--we are in our 70s). It has been very nicely updated, is very clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. We walked several times to downtown, and to the new capital building. Very conveniently located to downtown shopping and museums, plus to the northeast part of the Bourbon Trail, which was the focus of our visit. Plenty of parking at the house location. We very much enjoyed the visit!

Pit stop on our way south to Florida with our 2 pups. Clean, convenient, spacious, and cozy. We toured Buffelo Trace and came back for a bonfire and then walked downtown for dinner. Perfect! Pups loved the fenced yard.

Location was great! Very clean. 2 stories so be aware of the stairs. Yesenia, was a wonderful host! Got back quickly with answers to our questions and grateful she extended our checkout time!

Went to many fabulous distilleries and had a great time.

Took a little to get used to having the kitchen downstairs and the living area upstairs but overall the home provided everything we needed for our stay in Frankfort. The king bed was MOST comfortable!! Didn’t try the other. Was the perfect home base for distillery visits during the day.

Very nice location for access to Frankfort as well as distilleries in area. Very clean accomodations with some old school charm.

The place is small and older, but the hosts did a great job of making it comfortable for 2 couples. Location is perfect for a trip to Buffalo Trace and nearby restaurants and distilleries.
