Welcome to Heavenly Lakeview Hideaway
Heavenly Lakeview Hideaway is a spacious 8-bedroom, 5½-bath, 6,000 sq. ft. lakefront retreat on Lake Norman, just about 40 minutes from Uptown Charlotte and Charlotte Douglas International Airport, making travel easy for families coming from multiple cities. Set on approximately 0.70 private acres with 270-degree water views, this home is designed for multi-generational family reunions, large friend groups, and special celebrations where everyone can relax, reconnect, and play together

Once you arrive, you’ll have everything on-site: lake access, sand volleyball, a full boathouse game room, hot tub, fire pit, water toys, and multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces so big groups never feel crowded.

Perfect for Large Families & Groups
This home is intentionally designed for large gatherings, from toddlers to great-grandparents. Families love that there’s room to spread out and still come together for meals, games, and late-night chats.

Comfortably sleeps up to 22 guests in King and Queen beds, plus additional bunk beds and tent-style sleepover options kids love.

Multiple indoor seating and dining areas where everyone can eat and hang out at the same time.

Kids adore roasting s’mores around the large fire pit, swimming off the dock, stargazing, and exploring the big yard and shoreline.

Pack & Play and high chair provided to make travel with little ones easier.

Guests regularly use the home for family reunions, milestone birthdays, anniversary trips, guys’ and girls’ getaways, weddings, and small retreats because it balances together time with plenty of personal space.

The House: Space, Comfort, Views
The main home offers comfortable, “Southern hospitality” style décor with large windows framing the lake and flexible sleeping arrangements across two levels. It’s easy to keep the group connected while still finding quiet corners to read, nap, or watch a game.

8 bedrooms and 5½ bathrooms across two floors (4 bedrooms upstairs, 4 downstairs).

Two separate living rooms with TVs, couches, and chairs for movie nights or game days.

Internet-enabled TVs so you can log into your own Netflix and YouTube TV accounts.

High-speed WiFi throughout the house, boathouse, and game room—great for remote work or streaming.

Hot tub with lake views, plus patio seating and yard games.

The layout works especially well for large families who want grandparents on one level, kids together in bunk rooms, and parents close by but with their own space.

Dream Kitchen & Outdoor Cooking
Food is the heart of any big gathering, and this kitchen is set up for serious group cooking. Whether you’re cooking for 10 or 20+, you’ll have the tools and space you need.

Spacious kitchens with 3 full-size refrigerators, 2 ovens plus 1 convection oven, full-size dishwasher, and plenty of counter space.

Fully stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, serving platters, utensils, knives, and enough dishes and flatware for full-house meals.

1 Keurig coffee maker, 2 coffee pots with coffee and filters so you can enjoy sunrise coffees in rocking chairs overlooking the calm morning water.

1 covered Blackstone propane grills with extra tank, plus an outdoor charcoal smoker and full grilling utensil set for big cookouts.

Ample paper towels, sponges, wipes, and basic cleaning supplies to keep things tidy during your stay.

The open-concept design keeps everyone together between the kitchen, living room, four-season room, and boathouse/party area, which guests love for holidays and reunions.

Bedrooms & Sleeping Setup
Clear sleeping arrangements matter to big families, so here’s how the 8 bedrooms are laid out.

Room 1 (Downstairs Primary): California King bed, TV, en-suite bathroom, and large windows overlooking the lake.

Room 2 (Downstairs): Queen bed.

Room 3 (Downstairs): Queen bed.

Room 4 (Downstairs): Queen bed.

This layout has proven comfortable for groups of 14–22 guests on family trips, guys’ weekends, and multi-family vacations.

5 Queen sleper sofa throughout the property.

Boathouse Game & Party Room
The two-story boathouse/game room is the “wow” factor and where most groups spend a huge chunk of their time. It’s close enough to the main house for easy back-and-forth, but set apart so late-night fun doesn’t disturb early sleepers.

Upstairs game/party room features:

Full-size pool table, ping pong table, and foosball.

Giant windows overlooking the lake and a covered patio with serving counter for drinks and snacks.

Full kitchen for beverages and simple snacks so you don’t have to run back to the main house.

Approximately 800 sq. ft. of open space for games, dancing, and hanging out, with sliders to configure the room.

Easy-to-use sound system (plug in or Bluetooth) plus flat-screen TV with streaming so you can watch the game while playing pool.

Convenient half bath so you don’t miss the fun.

The entire boathouse area has WiFi so guests can share moments on social media or stream music without interruption.

Lakefront Fun, Water Toys & Outdoor Living
You’re right on the water with everything you need for an active lake vacation. The property feels like a private lake resort for your group.

Private boathouse with bost dock, floating jet ski dock, and 20 ft concrete boat ramp.

Professional-size white sand volleyball court for family and friends’ tournaments.

3 adult kayaks, 3 adult paddleboards, large floating water pad, tubes, and water rafts for hours of lake fun.

Life jackets in multiple sizes for the family; guests may bring perfectly sized personal vests as well.

Big open field ideal for football, soccer, kickball, frisbee, and general running around.

Fire pit area for sunset views, s’mores, and storytelling under the stars.

Many guests report that their kids spend nearly the entire trip swimming, playing in the boathouse game room, and living on the dock and water toys.

Location & Nearby Conveniences
The home feels private and tucked away while still being close to everyday conveniences and local attractions.

Approximately 38–40 minutes to Uptown Charlotte and the NASCAR Hall of Fame, as well as Panthers and other downtown events.

About the same drive time to Charlotte Douglas International Airport, ideal for out-of-town family members.

Within 10 minutes of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping, including options for takeout and delivery.

This makes the home easy to reach, even for large groups arriving at different times and from different cities.

Guest Access & Check-In
Guests have full access to the main house, boathouse game room, dock, yard, and all listed amenities. Check-in is flexible and simple for large groups.

Self-check-in via smart lock, or an optional guided check-in/walkthrough to help you get oriented to the property and amenities.

Driveway and on-site parking suitable for multiple vehicles.

A Note from Your Hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Some repairs were being done on the water deck so wasn’t able to easily access that. The volleyball court was the highlight of the games. Lots of water toys that everyone enjoyed.

Great spot for our family to gather. The host was nice, the view is EXCELLENT, and the house is spacious with all the necessary items for a comfortable stay away from home. I hope the family votes to return.

We loved this house for our family vacation! Having the game room separate from the main house was a big plus so the night owls weren’t disturbing the early birds. The house also came stocked with everything you could want on the lake. Everyone enjoyed the vacation and we hope to book our next one here !

Wonderful Family Reunion. Place is as described. Only nits were the volleyball sand had been taken over by hornets so unable to use but there are many other areas. Also, the kitchen layout is hard to use with 20 people, really only 2 people could be working in kitchen at a time. This was partially because of how many different families we had staying. Lots of rooms so could get quiet time if you needed it. It was a perfect choice for our group.

Wonderful location. Great dock for all water based activities. The view is incredible. There are a few house features that could use a bit of updating, however, all in all, the house is well maintained. The host, Zee, was very attentive. Our family had a wonderful week on the lake.

Twelve family members, ages 15 to 78 spent 5 nights over the Easter holiday. Everyone had the very best time. There were multiple areas inside and out to gather or get away. We rented the pontoon boat and jet ski, which were so fun. We took advantage of the many water toys, including the kayaks. The views were amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

The property has an amazing location on Lake Norman with water on 3 sides! The grounds are well kept, and it even has a volleyball court & a basketball hoop (balls are provided). Since we were there in December, we did not get to use the water equipment, but there was just about every water recreation item you could imagine, from pontoon boat and jet ski to kayaks and paddle boards. Life jackets of various sizes and other water toys. The game room above the garage is equipped with a wide variety of activities for all ages. The house itself is comfortable with plenty of sleeping space. We had 16 adults from 20 - 79 years of age and all had a wonderful time. Even with that many adults we had one bed and two sofa beds that we did not use! The hot tub was a big hit and there are plenty of games and books available to keep everyone entertained. This was the second time that we rented this house for our family to gather at Christmas and we will do it again. One special think I should note is that the host was there to greet us when we arrived and helped us get acquainted with the house. I had wanted to be able to live stream our home church service from my computer onto one of the tv's and he took the extra time to help me set that up. Additionally, he was quite responsive to any additional inquiries that we had. Zee is a SUPER HOST!

This home was absolutely perfect for my large family (19 people) to gather together over Christmas. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and space. The game room was a huge hit for the kids (ages 6-14). The kayaks and hot tub were enjoyed by everyone during the day and the firepit was perfect for late night smores. The house was great for everyone being able to sit together in one space or break off in small groups. We all hope to return in years to come!

We had 8 adults and 6 kids, engaging from 9 months to 7 years old, and had a blast! House is great and game room is a blast. Zee was fantastic and accommodated an early check in as well as a late check out. The area around Lake Norman seems to be an older community, and there weren’t really many kid friendly things close by. We had to drive 30-45 minutes for activities, decent playgrounds, restaurants/breweries, but thankfully we had a ton of entertainment at the house between the game room, volleyball court, fire pit, lake, basketball, etc. The kitchen could use some new appliances and the water pressure wasn’t the best (nobody could shower at the same time), but these are minor and didn’t affect our stay. Thanks Zee for a great trip!

We had a fairly large group of 14 people and the property had plenty of room and everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The host was very accessible and greeted us at the property when we arrived and gave us a tour. Check in and out was easy and I would strongly recommend this property to anyone.

From the pictures this property looked amazing and we thought it would be the perfect spot for our extended family of 20+ to get together for a long weekend. When we arrived, we quickly realized the house had not had much upkeep or cleaning. The house is older and needs some updating. There were many bugs and insects found in the house, the grill was covered in mold and there was garbage found in the dresser drawers. The showers and sinks did not have much water pressure and the showers were without drain plugs and did not drain well so when you showered you ended up standing in several inches of waters. The dryer was broken and therefore we were not able to do laundry. Overall the property was not what we had expected. The host did come to clean the grill which we appreciated but when we tried to use it we realized not all the burners worked. Overall the property was not what we were hoping for and we were disappointed with our stay.

Overall house was good. Rained a couple days / had leaks in living room and doorway from living room to sunroom. Dryer quit working Thursday. Grass needed mowed when we got there and didn’t get mowed for the week. Zee was there to give us a tour at check in- very helpful but a little slow to respond to texts during stay.
