240' Private Beachfront @Kent Island Love Point - Great for Families

We have been coming here for a few years and have nothing but positive things to share. The host and the house are amazing for a group. Will recommend this place and will be back ourselves as well.

This house and location offered our extended family everything we wanted in a great vacation. The kitchen offered plenty of usable cooking/baking and storage items and even a nice assortment of spices etc. The porches and sunroom were great places to hang out, and had lots of places to sit and relax or play games. The kids loved having their own area upstairs!The yard is large and the kids were able to play outside. They all had nets that they used to find critters in the tidal pond and at the beach. They especially liked finding so many horseshoe crab shells.Thanks, Hal for providing such great service to your guests!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. Hal was very responsive and made the check in and out as smooth as possible. He was available for any questions we had and made sure we had the best trip possible. 15 of us and 1 dog stayed here very comfortably, we would definitely return :)

This house and the property in general have everything you need to have a great vacation. The owner has ensured that all the staples you may need are available and in significant quantities. The kitchen has everything you can think of to prepare and serve a fantastic meal for a large group. My family and I had an excellent stay over the 2025 Thanksgiving break. The weather cooperated, and we enjoyed a week's worth of great days and evenings on the property. The property owner is a fantastic host and quite responsive. The owner is very communicative. The kitchen had everything plus more available to us, including a smores basket! The beach access is perfect for our scientific labs we do in the water. It is all-around a great place for establishing and growing comradery.

A memorable vacation for 3 generations of my family. The house easily accommodated 16 of us and one dog. The house is extremely well equipped with amusements for the children, video tapes, all the cooking and baking accoutrements you will need, kayaks, bicycles, linens, towels and crab traps! The house has lots of spaces, screened in and open air porches to accommodate both introverts and extroverts. There are two lovely wineries just down the road with lovely outdoor spaces suitable for adults and kids. Hal, the property owner is very responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful home overlooking a pond and the Chester River. A nice sandy beach area with a protected area which is great for kayaking and paddleboarding, which are provided. Very peaceful and full of wildlife. Great watching the boating activity on the river as well.

We thouroughly enjoyed our week at Love Point. The house is very well appointed, clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family vacation of 14 people. Even with a large group there are lots of places in the house to find quiet time alone if you desire. The beach front is a great place to have morning coffee, a swim, or go paddleboarding and kyaking. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at the house, and there is a second refrigerator and freezer if you need to keep food fresh for a large group. Our host Hal was always available and attentive. We would highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

We had a lovely week on Kent Island. My family came from Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Virginia. The house is so well stocked and the instructions were excellent. We enjoyed the beach, playing games, and relaxing. Thank you Hal!

We had an amazing stay. The owner has literally thought of everything to make your stay the best experience! We had a range of ages in our family and everyone loved it. The beach was amazing.

The house was roomy and comfortable. There were good places for gathering and the kitchen was well-stocked. Everyone enjoyed the beach with the water toys. Evening s’mores around the campfire were a hit. Overall, it was a great place for a family reunion.

Since the day I booked the house, Mr. Hall was so helpful; he provided all the details we talked on the phone. I explained for him that we will be celebrating my wedding with my family. He even let us visit the house before the wedding day. He was really nice and helpful; he had all the details for the house. He kept the communication till the minute we left the property. The house is amazing; the view, the spaces, the energy of the house is amazing; it's filled with love and happiness. We will definitely come back for our 1-year anniversary.

We had a great time with friends on our annual MD golf trip. Hal was great and the place was perfect for our group.

My husband, children and grandchildren spent a wonderful 5 days at Love Point Idyll. The house is large and beautiful with great views of the bay and wildlife. We took many walks around the property when the weather permitted and when we weren’t visiting nearby DC. The house was well stocked with necessities and Hal was extremely gracious and quick to answer any questions. We had so much fun and the family is eager to go back for another visit.

The house was beautiful and comfortable and had lots of incredible amenities. I stayed with a group of friends and their kids and it was so lovely being able to take them down to the water and make s'mores at the firepit at night. Highly recommend!

We are in love with this place. What a wonderful spot to have a vacation. Communication with owner is the best I've ever experienced. The demands on us were so low. Dog friendly in a very accommodating way.

This house was so cozy yet spacious! The house was amply stocked with just about everything you would want or need. The owner responded to our inquiries immediately! I hope we go back there again!

I have stayed at Love Point Idlyll three times and cannot wait to return! We have visited in the winter and have had a blast. It’s so beautiful. I can only imagine how great it must be in the warmer weather. We have not taken advantage of the kayaks, bikes and the private beach. The house itself is well stocked with all the essentials and lots of unexpected mew extras. It’s ideal for a larger group. Finally, Hal is a great host and very responsive. Highest rating possible zzz!

We rented Hal's home for our annual Friendsgiving with several families. The kitchen had plenty of space and was well appointed with cooking gear to prepare a big meal. The kids loved running around outside, exploring the beach area and having s'mores around the fire pit. Hal is a great host - very responsive and helpful. Hope to come back next year!

We’ve been going to Annapolis for a church meeting every year since 2014. In the last three years a group of us have stayed together. This was by far the biggest group of 19 and it was our best stay ever. Hal is super responsive and nice. The kitchen was well stocked, house was so clean, water was hot and beds were comfortable. Perfect view of the sunrise each morning and the beach itself was phenomenal!! Even had some little creature swimming in the pond…not sure what it was but it was supper playful and fun to watch. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the house and sit around a fire. Planning to travel up earlier next year Lord willing!

It is hard to put into words just how extraordinary this property is and even more so the host, Hal. I held my wedding in the backyard and every single one of my guests raved about how amazing the house was and how well set up it is for parties of our size (45ppl). It is perfect for families as there is a ton of games and activities to keep kids busy and lots of different lounge areas so you never feel on top of each other. And it’s soooooo beautiful and tranquil. As for Hal. Wow. Honestly, the best house rental host I have ever had. He went above and beyond both ahead of time and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and more. It is clear he has hosted for a while because there are a lot of thoughtful touches in the house that really enhance guest experience (ex: xtra sunscreen and bug spray stocked down at the beach) . Overall, don’t think twice about booking this place. It is incredible! Thank you Hal for everything!

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding, and stayed here with our large family. It was the perfect setup for us. Loved the views and the home. The host was very responsive as well.

We rented this property for our annual work retreat. It was remote enough to be peaceful (and on the water!) and close enough to restaurants and groceries to keep us stocked. There was plenty of space and the kitchen was well stocked. Thank you!

I stayed here with a group of 5 coworkers for a team-building week. The house was a great location as it had lots of spaces for us to spread out when needed, as well as come together for meals and discussions. It's a historic home with funky decor - not modern but very comfortable and has everything you need. The short walk to the private beach is unbeatable. Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Love Point Idyll. The large house had everything we needed for a long weekend with multiple families and our dogs! The private beach is a short walk from the house and shallow enough for young kids to enjoy and parents to relax. The kayaks & paddle boards were a hit with everyone. This quiet neighborhood is a hidden gem; close to amenities but tucked away with great views of the bay. Hal was also extremely responsive & informative throughout the booking process and a great host overall. Definitely would return again!

Our multi-generational family had a wonderful week at Love Point Idyll. A quiet, world-away oasis. We spent the days outdoors, with lots of beach time on the lagoon. SO safe for the kids, and the older ones (ages 9,11, 13) were able to comfortably kayak, paddleboard and play in the water, catching little crabs. AWESOME bird watching (eagles and osprey!). Only 10 minutes away from grocery stores, coffee trucks, gas stations, and crab shacks. Spacious interior with well-equipped kitchen. Hal was great, responding to questions within a few minutes. Highly recommend!

I can not express how lovely our stay was at Hal’s gorgeous house! From the well stocked large kitchen, to the oversized bedrooms, the wonderful screened in porch for our morning coffee, the beautiful TWO fire pits for s’mores and laughter! The property itself is so large you feel like you are in your own private oasis. The amazing thing you are also only 15 minutes away from a target & a supermarket! The private beach is a slice of heaven, honestly. Watching all my grandkids swim, paddle board, Kayak and fish was a great joy, for all of us. As if the house is not enough, there is an adorable winery 5 minutes down the road. Hal himself was so kind and helpful, extremely quick to respond. Our family highly recommends Hal’s Hidden Hideaway Oasis for your next family vacation!

For a family of 18 (10 adults & 8 children of varying ages) who love swimming, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, golfing, eating, playing games and just being together, this home checked all the boxes. Set in a quiet neighborhood just down the road from farm fields and vineyards with views from the house looking out over the water, the location is ideal. The wildlife (deer, foxes, eagles and osprey) was spectacular and the homeowner Hal was friendly, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a fun, wonderful and unforgettable family vacation.

Not only is the island a great place to vacation but this particular house can’t be beat. Beautiful house. Well maintained. So many little extras! Hal also helped us find our second rental across the street. Having the whole family near each other was wonderful. We had a great experience!
