Stayed Mar 13, 2026The property is in a historic neighborhood and the house, while clean and comfortable, wears its age. It is very convenient to central Jacksonville and only about 15 minutes from the airport. All parking is street parking on a pretty crowded street, which was not a problem for our group with only one car, but with multiple cars might mean that some will be hunting for a space.Furnishings are simple but comfortable. We didn’t do extensive cooking, but the kitchen looked to have enough cookware to keep a group well-fed. Being a 1-1/2 bath (one tub/shower) house might be tight for a larger group.The neighborhood was well-lit at night, and many of the houses (this one included) keep party lights and porch lights on at night. We didn’t have a chance to get out and walk the neighborhood, but noticed many others out and around.
