22877 Linden - Newly renovated home in the Amenity filled Angola by the Bay!

We stayed for 4 days 3 nights. Convenient location in a nice quiet gated neighborhood. Check in was smooth and our hostess was very responsive and helpful. Overall, a good stay, but there were some drawbacks. The house could use a deep clean, especially the carpeted stairs and area rug. The dining chairs were fabric but were stained. There was an ant issue in the kitchen ( not out of ordinary especially with the time of year, but the ant bait was full upon arrival, showing maybe it wasn’t changed before our check in). While the additional time we took to clean and mitigate these issues caused some inconvenience, it was a good stay.I will say, that when we checked out, we explained these issues to our hostess and she was very attentive, apologetic, and receptive. Overall, there were no glaring issues or deal breakers and we enjoyed our family time.

House was great. It had everything we needed and plenty of room. The only issue was that it wasn’t cleaned very well. There was a used paper towel left on the dresser downstairs, smears on the mirrors, the toilet was dirty, the floors were dirty.

Was a nice fit for our family. Could use more furniture, rocker recliners in both living areas would be nice. Kitchen was great, lots of appliances and dishes.

The beds (queen) are getting worn as we noticed they weren't as comfortable this year as years past. If the owner could leave a leaf blower that would be great as the front drive and deck upstairs gets quite a bit of brush. The cleaners didn't wipe the table on the deck and it looked like it hadn't been wiped in weeks. We did clean it off but took 3 cleanings. We also had quite a few spiders - the main door had a huge web every time we came home with a huge spider in the middle. Honestly, that may sound like a lot but overall the place is amazing and has always felt like a home away from home. The owner was also spectacular as he walked us through how to get the wifi back up after the power outage.

The house is located in a nice community but close to the main road that runs by the community. Traffic noise at night. The location was somewhat of a drive to get to any beach but we made it work. Had to factor in a half hour drive to get to beach. House had a few small maintenance issues. House accommodated 6 adults and one infant well. Kitchen well stocked for our cooking needs. Nice community pool.
