Let me start with WOW! The support the ladied provided us was amazing. All 3 of them spoke English fluently, helped organize taxis, served us drinks and were always friendly and nice. Unreal really something you can't find anywhere else. All of them need a promotion / raise ! The major reason why I would stay there again when we visit Kyoto again. This experience is better than staying at a hotel or any other VRBO/ABNB I've been to before. Everything I had hoped for and more Check in - seamless - as mentioned above the girls helps us check in very quickly offering drinks after a long trip to get there. Property/House - 4 story dream! Recently remodeled everything is new. 1st floor is where the Cafe/ check in is. They are open 9-6p and you'll never notice them unless you need them. They also had umbrellas for us when it rained. 2nd floor is two bedrooms off the kitchen / living room with bench seating. TV in the living room is huge and perfect with HULU / Netflix/ others. We (the family) relaxed there after a long day eating snacks from the many convenient stores around (handy since most restaurants close early). Shout out to Sushi Taka about a block away and tasted amazing 3rd floor - bathroom / separate toilet The shower / wooden bathtub has a separate door to prevent the steam / heat from transferring over. The shower has many setting but the best is the waterfall feature which will rain down and adjustable pressure / heat (best shower I have ever had). New bidet in the toilet closet. 4th floor is a traditional Japanese living area with a nice patio /balcony overlooking the mountains. I watched the sunrise every morning there. Truly tranquil. Overall - as you can see I'm fond of the place and especially the hospitality from the group at the Cafe. Thank you so much
