The place was perfectly situated in the heart of Ventura, making it easy to walk to most nearby spots. It included a designated parking space and a washer and dryer, which was very convenient. We were also lucky to visit on a great weekend—there was not only the farmers market, but also a “Findings Market,” where local businesses filled downtown with food and merchandise. There were, however, a few downsides. We had to contact the management company because the check-in message with instructions and the door passcode was never sent by (or before) the 4:00 PM check-in time. Additionally, the unit had an overwhelming number of Febreze air fresheners throughout, and the scent was extremely strong. We ended up keeping the windows open the entire weekend because of it. The hand soap and shower soap were also very drying, so we purchased our own shampoo and body wash from Target. Another concern was the bed frame—the legs beneath the headboard were loose and felt unstable, which made us worry it could collapse. We also recommend bringing a steamer to thoroughly steam the bed and couch. It seemed the unit was not cleaned deeply after guests with pets, as we initially felt itchy; once we steamed the furniture, that issue resolved. One additional note: the TV does not provide any free or guest-accessible streaming. Overall, with better deep cleaning and attention to these minor maintenance and comfort issues, this place has the potential to be excellent.

The place and the area are very good. But checking in was very disappointment. I have to wait outside for 40 min and it dark and cold.

Great place to stay for a few days. Very central location, could walk downtown and right next to a great coffee shop. Also very easy access to get on and off the freeway for trips out of town. The place was quiet and had a nice small kitchen, with all the cooking stuff we needed. Getting in and out of the parking spots was a bit tricky and they are small parking spots but it was nice to have off street parking. Wouldn’t work for a giant SUV so be forewarned. Overall it’s a really nice place, comfortable, well furnished, and I’d stay there again.

The inside of the unit is super cute. The outside of the property needs a little TLC. We could have used more bath towels...there was only one hand towel and washcloth provided for two people.

Great location, very clean and pretty decor inside. Excellent location and excellent communication. Also entry went very smoothly ( we've had problems before with keyless locks). Be aware- The driveway to the carport is fairly narrow. Just take your time!

In the late 60's I lived less then a block away. The neighborhood still has it's charm and there's a cool coffee shop two doors down. I'll likely be back
