Stayed Jul 25, 2025We really appreciated being allowed to check-in early-thank you! The home was older than we expected, but it had some nice features, including a fun game room, a large backyard, and a dock with access to the lake. It comfortably accommodated our large group. However, there was a few areas that could use improvement. We had to search for extra towels and soap, and the kitchen could be stocked and organized more efficiently. The biggest issues were cleanliness and garbage. One of the sliding doors couldn’t be used because of debris in the tracks, and there were cobwebs throughout the house. With warm weather, there were a lot of flies. It would be helpful to have more flyswatters or fly strips near the doors. Trash was also a concern- there was only one garbage can, which was already three-quarters full when we arrived. For a group our size, a second can would definitely be needed.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Family trip to the cabin. We were a family of nine including grandparents. The layout of the home was especially great for a multigeneration trip. The backyard facing the lake was especially nice and quiet.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025My retired parents, my brother and sister-in-law, and my family (including one teenager) try to stay at a lake once a Summer - we play games, make meals, and do lots of laughing. This home was perfect for all of that! There was plenty of space for us to spread out when we wanted to, but the large dining table offered a great spot to eat and play games. We even kept a puzzle set up at one end for whomever wanted to work on it - with room to spare. I gave my husband an inflatable kayak as an anniversary gift (which fell during our stay) and he had a great time trying it out on the channel side of the property. Before we left he was even venturing into the big lake. We did have to purchase a lift jacket for him at a nearby store as the home doesn't provide those. The only downsides were some issues with the A/C, but the management company was VERY responsive, and the flies outside. We picked up a trap at a hardware store in Crosby and it worked like a charm. If we decide to visit the area again we would likely stay here.

Stayed Sep 6, 2024The house and property grounds were amazing! Loved that we had our own bathrooms with the 2 bedrooms on each end of the house along with each having it's own walkout patio doors. The house was so spacious for our group and had everything we needed for cooking. Having 2 docks was great also for fishing and just watching the ducks/eagles/beavers and the beautiful scenery.. The game room with TV was a fun bonus too! Would definitely recommend this place and will be back! The host was great with any questions we had too!

Stayed Aug 4, 2024The house was great. It was spacious and super clean. Although the weather was cooler and more rain than we anticipated, we still had fun fishing every day . We did get to do a little kayaking and paddle boarding one day. The game room was a very nice bonus that came in handy due to the weather.

Stayed Aug 11, 2024We had a wonderful time. The house was spacious and clean, with lots of activities. Mike was very responsive. Truly a place we will come back to and continue to create more memories. The scenary is outstanding, overlooking Lake Mille Lac and the must astonishing moments during our stay was star gazing and experiencing the Northern Light show.

Stayed Jul 2, 2024We stayed with my sister and her family. The yard was fantastic for yard games. The house offered lots of space for everyone to have their own area when they needed. The game room was great when it rained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. A wonderful stay!

Stayed May 15, 2024Spouse and I snuck away for anniversary for some fishing. Although the boat ramp is better suited to smaller boats easy access. Home is well kept for needs and manager of property is very responsive and accommodating
