Quite and perfect... Loved the house and the cabin. We spent most of the trip in the Cabin because of the open floor plan... Great for two families.. I would definitely would book again.

This is the perfect mountain escape in beautiful rural Western North Carolina. Ideal for family gatherings and all ages. My 3 children and their spouses and 3 grandchildren ages 12, 9, and 2.5 all travelled here from various parts of the country for a wonderful vacation. My grandchildren loved the creek and exploring the wildlife and nature around us. Some exquisite butterflies were also around. The babbling creek was so soothing and the musical background. There was a great hike a 10 minute walk up the pisgah highway and many wonderful hikes we accessed by car like Art Loeb ,Mt. Pisgah, etc. The views were incredible!!! Exploring Mountain Towns like Asheville and Brevard also an option. The host was immediately responsive to questions both before and during our stay. . This is a perfect place for a large group. This grandma appreciated the studio cabin adjacent to the main house. 3 families were in the main cabin. There were 9 of us in all. We had a memorable time that's for sure. Very grateful for the respite, something much. The Western NC mountains have always been my happy place and so soothing for the soul.

Pam is an amazing host that made sure we stayed safe from this awful hurricane. Truly invested in her community and kept up with us post storm to let us know how everything was in her area. Will be staying here in the future

Our first visit to Asheville, and it's for our daughter's wedding. Beautiful time of year to visit! We enjoyed the area and loved the hike on Mt. Pisgah. The house was a little far from the rest of the wedding party but we liked the quiet and calm in the mountains. The lack of cell service was frustrating since it dampened communication with the rest of our group. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

Nice quaint place in the hills. Where I enjoyed the sound of the creek that runs right by the property. Also where I saw salamanders! I haven't seen one in nature in a long time! Pam was always quick to respond and even accepted a add on guest.

We loved the location of this house! The creek was the perfect place for my young kids to play, and the two separate houses gave our extended family plenty of space to spread out. We really enjoyed being close to the parkway and surrounded by nature. Our main disappointment as avid home cooks was the state of the cookware and grill. The grill was not in working order due to previous guests. While I notified the host and she was quick to respond, we were not able to get a working grill to the house during our stay. In addition, the pots and pans were a bit of a hodge-podge. They were obviously old and not good quality, and we ended up buying a few inexpensive new pans so we would have something good enough to cook on. In addition, we found a mixer without beaters in the main house and beaters without a mixer in the smaller cabin, but they did not go together, so that also presented a struggle. Anytime we had a question or a problem, the host was very quick to respond. The houses were clean and had all the listed amenities except the working grill. Check-in and check-out processes were reasonable and easy. The property is gorgeous and so relaxing! Overall, we had a wonderful stay!
